Yes, my thoughts exactly.  However,  some thoughts I've had all season and are just my opinion.  They really wanted Tyler C to be the Bach and thought they had a better chance since Matt was gonna be on Clare's season, then all that went down and Matt got the Bach job and IMHO they have screwed with Matt all season just to get back at Tyler C for turning them down and their thoughts were well we will show you how we will treat your home boy... Hmm...interesting conspiracy theory but TPTB just mess with most all the leads these days: HB, PP, Colton etc. I don’t think they did it to get back at Tyler. jmo

Matt needs to loose that beard. IMO it looks horrid.

Probably means nothing but Serena is sitting in the next 'ette seat that some former ett's sat in during WTA.

The way I see it, TPTB chose Matt as TB because they have been constantly criticized for not have a black lead, and more diverse cast. TPTB during a very difficult summer of protests with BLM's and the ongoing racial injustice, they decided IMO what better time to choose a black lead, to make themselves look like they are changing, and thought, why not make it Tyler's BFF because he was so popular and so was his bestie Matt. I don't see any proof they disliked Tyler or wanted to "get back" at him for any reason. I don't recall reading anything negative coming from TPTB.

The spoiler from the beginning was Tyler was going to be on the show, which just imo generated more interest for the viewers to watch. Tyler did end up on the show, and basically the date was all about Tyler half naked getting a sensuous massage.

The problem as we all know they love the drama, we also know they always cast those who they know will cause drama. I don't believe for a second, they thought Matt was a great catch who was looking to get married and settle down. Just like another F1 who's IG was full of questionable racist content, as well as a sex offender on Becca's season. In this day and age, the first place one goes to find info is SM. Hundreds of people apply, in Matt's case as per CH 1000's. One of those thousands had racist content on her SM which she later wiped? Why did she delete all those AFTER filming and not before? Maybe because it wasn't an issue before, maybe she was told to, just like Garret removed a controversial link in his bio', literally right after the FRC in real time.

IMO TPTB knew what they were doing, and it had nothing to do with getting back at Tyler but rather trying to pat themselves on the back for casting a black lead. It all backfired, in the name of wanting drama.

Abigail and Pieper in the hotseat... but not Katie? And she was supposedly still going to be bachelorette at this point? Maybe she really wasn't all along? Has a bachelorette (that has gone to the WTA - obviously they sometimes do not as they get too far for it) ever not gotten the hot seat at the WTA or am I dreaming?

I've been thinking about Abigail and how she depends partly on reading lips to 'hear' what someone is saying. How difficult it must be during the pandemic! And for her to move to NYC in the midst of everything, shows what a strong, courageous and independent person she is. Hoping she has big dreams and they all come true!
