Michelle's dad is a sweetie. Loving parents. I'm glad the classroom zoom was fun and light.

Yeah, I would not be doing that. Sorry, not my idea of a good time.

Matt looked like he would hurl.

I definitely would be hurling.

Oh, that was not a smooth landing....Let's fix her hair and then have that chat about how strong he feels for her. Can't have her with grass in her hair and it looking like a nest.

He is just one of those people who doesn't show that much emotion. Hard to read. He tells her how much he cares and how scared he was, but I'm not feeling the emotion.

Anyone else having a hard time watching this episode with all that has happened?

Yes.

Just said to my daughter that I was surprised that Rachael’s family didn’t seem to have an issue with Matt being a black man.

Matt was right. He will ask for a family's blessing once he gets to the end and not because it ticks a box or because Rachel wanted him to ask her dad.

Her family seemed alright. Her dad was pretty realistic and mom seemed nice enough.

Yes, it is difficult on many levels. Matt and Rachael appear to be falling in love and this was filmed months ago. Matt is dealing with revelations in real time now.

@luvstx who knows, they might have cut some of that HTD out.

I found it odd Rachel's dad he wanted to make sure she was being respected. Respected by who and in what way?

Comfortable = no sexy.

The hardest part of watching this episode knowing everything we do now? Trying to convince myself that TPTB didn't know about Rachael's past the whole time and didn't know what was coming.

When Rachael was setting up her date by explaining how important communication and trust were to her? Seemed like an editing setup because they knew she wasn't communicating everything to Matt.
