Something just occurred to me.. Zac definitely beat all the producers manipulation. There was uproar that the producers set Brendan up with the Neil Lane date but Zac was also set up on his first date with the wedding pictures. Zac never wanted to get married and have kids. He only came into the realization that he was living a lie prior to this experience and he craves those things. The producers tried to scare him into folding on that date but he aced it and even comforted Tayshia. Zac's mental game is top notch...

@Ruqibabe That is a really good point! I had totally forgotten that.

It goes to show the value of maturity. Zac was so comfortable with himself, who he was and what he had gone through, that he could be himself and support Tayshia and not freak out even when producers where trying to push his buttons. He probably didn't even know that is what they were trying to do, which is probably for the best so he didn't try to second guess them and himself.

Even my husband, a very very casual viewer, said If they gave Zac the ring shopping date, he’d definitely turn it into a fun experience and express how much he’s into Tayshia.

It’s not about the what, the activities of the date. It’s all about who, the person in the date, IMO.

@sdmom YES!!!!!! Zac would have made all the activities fun. He would have made the lame record breaking kiss sensual with Tayshia.. *edited*.. Zac would have added a lot of tongue action, neck grabbing and backrubbing. We definitely would have broken the record by A LOT.. drooling

@sdmom and @ruqibabe ITA with you both! Zac was so grateful for any opportunity to spend time with Tayshia that no matter what they were doing, he made it all about her.
He had words like, she is so special! At the photo shoot, Zac said " seeing her walk up, beautiful I don't think is an accurate description in this circumstance, another word has to be created to describe her...?I love Zac!!!!!

@SeekAny I agree with your observation.
I think happiness, love, and lack of perspiration suits him. Haha!

@Ruqibabe @Sprite @Ruqibabe I 100% think they set him up to fail during their first date. But I think it was their strategy to poke Tayshia too.
The girl clearly tells them on the photoshoot date that putting the dress on was uncomfortable for her. And yet they planned multiple dates throughout the season around wedding items - shopping for rings, first dance, etc.
For the last date - the wedding dance one... They knew Tayshia was getting in her head and yet they organized it. I think they even wanted to see if Zac would snap at her when she kept on saying they were messing up the routine.
But the guy is cool as a clam, and in Tayshia's words knows how to read her better than anyone ever has.

I have realized that no matter how much we critique the producers, the dates they plan or the things they do...it brings out some very unique characteristics of the contestants & leads.

@iampawsitive I totally agree with you. I actually appreciate all the manipulations because it forced Zac and Tayshia to build solid trust and have more difficult but necessary conversations.. This show is definitely survival of the mental fittest..

It would definitely be nice, if someone with Zac's level of emotional intelligence, life experiences, ability to live in the moment and maturity is the Bachelor. Brenda, Ben and Ivan are NOT there yet in my opinion.

I guess it all boils down to meeting the right woman with tons of chemistry and falling in love, and I mean truly falling in love. What I have seen in most men is that, when they truly want or love a woman they always go all in and would do anything to have that woman like Zac did. Brendan, Ben and Ivan were in love with her to a certain extent, but they didn't try to fight for her, feel her soul .... perhaps, among the three, Ben was the closest to truly falling in love but we all saw that he still has a lot of emotional growing to do. They were on love with the 'bachelorette' while Zac was in love with the human being and the woman in Tayshia.

They were in love with the idea of love...with the Bachelorette. Zac was in love with Tayshia.

@Sprite YES... Ben, Brendan and Ivan were falling for the Bachelorette.. Ben didn't even know the actual person. He didn't know she was divorced until he heard it from others during the final 5.. Brendan and Ivan weren't in love either..

I hope in the future, the Bachelorette keep choosing herself and not settle for unsure men. If a person really wants to be with you, they would. If they are unsure, its possible they arent meant for you. I am glad Rachel and Tayshia chose men that chose them..
