Oh Alanna, that IN TOUCH is hysterical! We know the "gay" thing involves two of Ben's contestants, not Ben (that we know of yet...). I just howled reading the caption "Ben's gay scandal".

Ashley and JP, but I feel better reading everyone's posts that they just took quotes instead of got an interview. Phew! Ali and Roberto have made me gunshy about these couples doing media LOL.

OMG that In Touch cover is RICH! But not a good rich as in RichLP.

I'll report on it tomorrow morning if the story isn't online or somebody doesn't get to it 1st. But I for one haven't forgotten the insulting and blatantly false stories In Touch ran on Ashley/JP through their whole season to punish the B'ette franchise for giving their unofficial exclusives to Life & Style Mag. The turnaround is amusing to say the least.

If the story's much more than a rehash of Ashley H's tweets to Ashley Spivey, the fact that Ashley H and JP went to a Rosi Golan show and she dedicated 'Hazy' to them, and some red carpet quotes, then I think it might be because In Touch has the unofficial hype deal for Ben's season (though if it does then that misleading Ben headline is a surprising choice) and the B/ette production people planted some tidbits about a possible Ashley/JP wedding to persuade people that the show can be successful so they keep watching and get invested. I'll be surprised if Ashley H and JP really did speak to them for an exclusive interview. I'll go even further and say if they DID speak to them, there would've been a new photo shoot for the cover and it doesn't look like there was.

Well, just guessing, but the typical rag mags usually take ONE or TWO real quotes from a red carpet event and mix it in with 'a source close to the couple says' crap. Also, it is a clue when they use a very old pic.

I thought the same thing! If it were really an exclusive and In Touch really spoke to them, wouldn't there be some kind of recent picture? Not a picture from the finale.

I also doubt there is a worry of famewhoring from Ashley especially. She has worked too hard on her goal of becoming a dentist to put it aside to concentrate on being in the spotlight. I don't see another Ali there.

Well I'm no legal expert but if you're directly quoting the subject of your article, chances are it's an statement from that person.. If not it's grounds for a lawsuit.

And that's one of Ashley & JP's favorite photos - they posted it on their website. It's a formal photo that goes along with the marriage theme of the article.

I agree with Southerngirl that if there was famehoing involved, Ashley and JP would've posed for a cover shot. I find it interesting the way ITW has done a total 180, though. I can't even see ITW anymore without thinking of Chris Heller's rant about it, LOL.

And I'm sure the direct quotes from Ashley in the article are probably taken from the Animal Blessing. As far as quotes go, this one is supersweet:

Even though The Bachelorette is notorious for introducing couples who just aren’t meant to be, Ashley beat the odds with JP, whom she calls her "best friend." "Against all odds, one of those guys on The Bachelorette turned out to be the love of my life," she marvels to In Touch. "What are the chances?"

I'm sure the quote they give is, but the details of the wedding are probably from the 'sources'. Just guessing.

That picture is on their website but IT flipped it for their cover. IT shows the ring on her right hand. Just makes you wonder what else they change to suit their 'article'.
