Wonderful to have you "come out of the woodwork" and share your thoughts here. But you needn't ever feel guilty about coming and going here - life happens (like it has for me lately) and sometimes we disappear for awhile. That doesn't mean we aren't sometimes checking in - it just means we don't have opportunities to sit down and get enmeshed again. Because it sure is addicting! For myself, I really miss all my friends on this board when I haven't got access to a computer and can't check in! That happened when I spent almost 6 weeks recently visiting my daughter and 6-yr-old granddaughter in CA - my daughter didn't have internet access (no money at the time), and the public library didn't allow access. Finally got internet access 3 days before I came home, and I am only getting back into the swing of things while playing catchup on life back home!

Anyway, welcome welcome, and I look forward to seeing more of you!

Hey all - I'm Stacy, the author of that last one. Hi!

I've always meant to be participating in here, I try to read as much as I can 'cause y'all are rock star awesome, but I always feel like I'm scrambling to keep my head above water (single mom to a VERY busy 4-year-old who is just in PT preschool). I've tweeted w/ some of you as well, but my Twitter activity is sporadic at best.

Lance TOTALLY nailed it above. I did take the info directly from the press release I received, and I was a little perplexed about the grandkid part as well but figured exactly what you all were thinking. I thought perhaps Roy has had a child previously, or Andrea does, or they feel as if they are grandparents already to children they know. We saw so clearly during the hometown date how Peter and Ilene are kind and loving, and I felt that though I hadn't heard reference of a grandchild before, it could be that they had previously wanted to keep him/her out of the spotlight.

However, I've also clarified now that Peter and Ilene are NOT yet grandparents - but I would imagine they are anxious for the opportunity! Seriously, can you imagine how dang cute they will be? I have edited my article just now to take out the grandparent reference - I do believe it was a bit of PR writer license that was taken, which the general layperson (i.e. NON "Team Cupcake" fans) would not have picked up on as seeming incorrect.

Sorry for the confusion! As many of you know when it comes to all things Team Cupcake, I try very hard to be accurate and supportive.

Thanks again for all the hard work you all do around here - I have really loved the additional info I've been able to use in my work on The Bachelor and I can't wait until Bachelorette stuff ramps up again too! I always try to credit folks here appropriately, but PLEASE always let me know if I miss anything. I am not perfect, but very well-intentioned...

Hey there, gg! Thanks for that welcome back! I sure will be more active once this season is over. Besides not having internet access in CA, I admit to being so bored with Ben and this season and hence not interested in following up on any posts on him, though I certainly miss you and all my friends on here. I did watch each episode but this was one season I had absolutely no interest in expending any effort to put them on DVDs, like I did for Chris L and JP/Ashley's seasons. I also followed the episodes because I came to care about Lindzi, Kacie B, and Nicki, and even Emily, and I would like to see any of them as future Bachelorettes - they seemed real women. Kacie's a little young maybe, but I absolutely loved and found her refreshing!

Hopefully I'll get caught up soon and can start sounding "intelligent" again! :giggle:
