The AFRC almost always bring back the couples that are still together - it doesn't mean anything other than that.

I wonder if they'll bring Jason/Molly and Trista/Ryan as well??

Nooooo, please no more interventions :Grin: IDK, maybe its just me but sometimes I get the impression Ben is still a litter bitter over the Ashley thing. I do not know if is ego or he really was in love with her, but I think it would be a little awkward to have Ash and JP come on to give Ben and his "love" advise. I'm sure Ash and JP would not feel weird but Ben might. Not a fan of the guy but they need to give him a break, imo.

Let's pretend for just a moment the roles were reversed. That Ben and Ash come back to give JP love advice! Thank you so much for understanding how it might be weird (for anyone!) and for giving him a break even though not a fan.

I'm guessing if the roles were reversed, assuming they were still together, Ben and Ashley would both be sitting up there whining and crying or maybe barking like dogs over something and JP and his F1 would be doing all the therapy. :hidingchair

Seriously though, what works for one couple doesn't necessarily work for another, and of course the whole thing would be too awkward to stomach for any involved. Also, I really, highly doubt Ben and Courtney want to work anything out for any reason whatsoever.

Did we know that JP's dad started that website? Also, what grandkids? Does JP has some illegitimate kiddos running around?

Uhhh ... that is totally bizarre. Seriously, what grandkids? Stacy Carey's always had inside scoop about the Rosenbaums so she may or may not have gotten the quote directly from Peter, but how did she not question its accuracy? Does Roy secretly have kids? Is there another long-lost sibling we don't know about? Too weird.

I've been puzzling over this too, and the scenario that sounds most logical is that Roy is divorced, and has a child, who spends most of their time with the ex. But it's weird that nobody's ever referenced it, and JP never mentioned having a niece or nephew. The other possibility, that there is another Rosenbaum sibling, or half-sibling, also never mentioned, seems less likely.

Stacy, how could you throw out a tidbit like that without clarification, when you know we have so little to dissect about the Cupcakes as it is?

I may be that Roy has a child and it was not mentioned before out of respect for his and the childs privacy. They seem like the type of family that understands you have to keep some things low key. The father may have said it out of habit really. After a while you just mention kids, grandkids in conversation without even thinking about it.

I have thought for a while that Roy may have been married before. JP in an article a while ago talked about maybe having an interfaith minister marry them like his brother used. Roy answered a question on twitter that he was 22 months older than JP so he is almost 37. He could have been married before and had a child. Just a thought!

This sounds likely. And I can certainly understand not discussing it (or having the child) on the show, but I'm just a bit surprised that JP has never made any passing mention, on twitter say, of being an uncle. For example, Ashley has talked about her niece and even posted a pic. Since I can only imagine what a proud (and wonderful :Nod: ) uncle JP would be, you'd think it would have come up in passing.

I remember reading that article with the thing about the interfaith minister and thinking, "Man, it would be nice if people would check their facts. Roy's obviously not married, duh!" But it never occurred to me that maybe he WAS married before. Interesting! And because I'm psycho like that, now I need to see a picture of JP holding the little baby niece or nephew. :awesome:

JP does not seem to be quite as open as Ashley especially when it comes to his family. He doesn't tweet that much and when he does if it's personal it about he and Ashley because they chose to be in a public forum. It could be either Roy or his ex requested that the child not be mentioned or shown to protect their privacy.
