I think the reporter mistakenly heard "he" instead of "she," was confused, and decided to use the male pronoun throughout the article, because I highly doubt Ashley would use the male pronoun there. If US Weekly and WetPaint would just twalk Ashley the way some of the rest of us do, maybe they'd get this right.

Would any self-respecting dog owner dress their male dog that way, LOL? Ironically enough, WetPaint actually wrote an article based on this tweet, and they still refer to Boo as "him." :laughingoutlou

ETA, agree Archer. Ashley obviously said she and they thought she said he or they really didn't pay attention.
In the most recent Wetpaint interview, from the same event, JP talked how he fell in love with Boo and said 'she'.

JP, are you loving Boo?
JP: I fell in love with Boo, also. I have to admit. It happened pretty quickly. She moved in, and she’s so incredibly friendly and loves people. The first time she nestles up to you, you can’t help it.

I think there is a natural tendency for people, especially those that don't have dogs themselves, to classify every dog as a "he" automatically (must admit that I sometimes do until told otherwise! :hidingchair ). For some reason, dogs are generically viewed as masculine and cats as feminine; makes no sense, but I suspect this is what happened here, and as has already been stated, the reporter/writer for the article just immediately went to the default position that Boo was a male. It probably also didn't help that her name tends to sound more like a boy's than a girl's IMO.

‘Bachelorette’ Ashley Hebert & J.P. Rosenbaum’s Holiday Plans Revealed

J.P. tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he and Ashley will be celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas this year.

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her fiance J.P. Rosenbaum are going to have a very busy holiday season. They will be celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas as J.P. is Jewish and Ashley is Christian.

“We’re celebrating both,” J.P. told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Life & Style magazine‘s holiday party presented by EOS and Alizé at STK in NYC on Dec. 13. “They overlap this year.”

The happy couple will be spending time with both of their families. “We’ll light some candles for Hanukkah and then head up to Madawaska, [Maine] to spend Christmas with her family,” J.P. shared.

“We’ll probably see [my parents] for a night, light some candles because it’s eight days — it’s not a very religious holiday,” J.P. continued. “But they’re going to want to have dinner and light candles and exchange some gifts and then [we'll] head up to Maine.”

J.P. revealed that he and Ashley will spend a night in Portland with Ashley’s sister Chrystie Hebert-Corns, before heading to Ashley’s mom’s house. Ashley and J.P. will rent a car for the five hour drive because they don’t have one in NYC, where they currently live together.

Considering that I feel like I've heard most of this info before, I'm not sure "exclusive" means what Hollywood Life thinks it means. Surprised by the last sentence, though, since we've seen pictures of JP's car on at least 3 different occasions and he and Ashley tweeted once about having to move it for street cleaning.

Yeah, that is a bit strange. If it's not his Land Rover, then whose is it? And seriously, what a weird thing to include in the article. Does anybody really care what these two drive when they go on a road trip? (I mean, people besides us, of course. NORMAL people. :awesome: )

Archer, these interviewers are so clueless. I may be wrong, but I think what JP said is they are renting a car to drive from Portland to Madawaska for Christmas. This Lindsey M. has had so much info wrong before in many articles she writes for HL, she took that to mean they have no car. They are probably flying to Portland this time. Remember the last time they drove to Portland and got a flat tire in JP's car. He has a Land Rover that made several trips, packed to the gills, from Philly to NYC when Ashley moved to NYC.

Anders on the cat penis. A couple years ago, my sister freaked out that our cat had a lump near his belly and took him to the vet. The vet said, "I can't find any lump, show me where you feel that". She did and the Vet said "oh, that's his little penis" How embarrassing, true story. rotfl

We had to pay a vet office visit to find that out.
