@Sprite I agree, a mixed-gender cast wouldn't work IMO, but from what I've seen, Brooke's bisexuality was played up for a very specific storyline TPTB wanted for BiP. She'd be quite happy with an all-male cast IMO. I'm not a huge Brooke fan though TBH, (she comes off a bit cold and prickly IMO).  Would rather see Tenille if it's a returnee, or (preferably) a decent cut of fresh meat.

@Bobette Yeah, I agree with you on Brooke. I would prefer someone fresh.

I would have liked someone like Mary for the lead. Sassy, lots of personality, but still open to the possibilities. Too bad she is now otherwise occupied...literally and figuratively.

She's either lying, or really, really stupid, IMO.  With this franchise, Smoke always = Fire, IMO.

@Bobette Responding to the reply, kerrihenly76, yeah mate, people should stop asking Elly, because she's making herself look even dumber and desparate.

Also, channel 10, just let them release the breakup statement already, you're also making yourself look dumb and stupid.

As @leavers says, many people just blindly believe what TPTB serves up to them, without engaging any critical thought.

These are the same people who will be "shocked" when their split is announced, and make comments such as "love is dead", as if two people can actually be in love after spending a total of, what, 12 hours together over a 4-week filming run?  

You will have to pardon my cynicism; I've been watching this show too damn long.  

I listened to Cocktails and Roses on my way home tonight, Alisha had a chat with Elly and Becky. No real goss in it, other than Frazer was suppose to go to Newcastle with Elly after the finale aired, but he was apparently super sick so went home to QLD and got on the beers with the boys instead.

Aaand, Elly only wants to go back to nursing part time so she can iNfLuEnCe.. shocker!

Yes, because beer is a well known cure for being sick... of your fake TV girlfriend.
