Kaitlyn has lucked out on costumes so far. The Moana outfit was cute and flattering. She looks great.

I hope that her ankle is able to heal well.

Disney Week is such fun, imo My favorite dances this week were Vernon & Peta, Nev & Jenna, Kait & Artem, Monica & Val, and AJ & Cheryl. Johnny Weir finally hit his stride, too. I could see that group being top 6 with maybe Justina/Sasha being swapped in for Monica/Val or Kaitlyn/Artem if her ankle doesn't heal.

Who does everyone think are the contenders for the top 6?

Chrishell could be a dark horse for top 6. She came in with no dance experience and is improving/ holding her own.
I think this season has a lot of talent this early on.

I didn't realize AJ was so early in his journey with sobriety. Glad he and Cheryl can bond over their concerns. And I wish them both all the best for staying healthy.

So glad Kaitlyn's ankle injury isn't too bad and hopefully she keeps up the proper healing so it doesn't get worse. Her rumba was super sweet and lines were perfect though could have more hip movement.

Also liked Jeannie, AJ and Chrishell. From 4's in Week 1 to 8's! Great improvement for her! So glad Carole was eliminated because that samba was just not good. No samba rolls, she was just walking. Good riddance to her.

Good point, @notarose, about Chrishell. I really enjoy her, too.

Chrishell is my dark horse pick as well. Apart from that I like Kaitlyn, Nev, and Johnny (I think Nev is Kaitlyn's biggest competition.) Skai might rally. I see AJ as more middle-of-the-pack, plus I haven't been impressed with Cheryl's choreography thus far.

I could also see Jesse going a bit further than one might think, because he's good looking and pleasant, plus Sharna can work wonders with a celeb partner. I don't feel that I really have a handle on the fan voting yet. The first two eliminations were the obvious picks from the judges' point of view, so I'm not sure how much fan voting blocks will come into play this season.
