Indeed they did, @Enough

So that's at least four kissing scenes cut from the past two episodes.

Seems to me TPTB filmed intimate scenes with ALL the possible contenders post-lockdown, to give them as much raw material to work with as possible in case Irena bailed and they needed a backup F1.

IMO Bella was always planned to be F2 (and probably next Bette, till whatever happened during the break for her to piss TPTB off and blow her chance) so they just needed a F1 that would be a good contrast.

Since IMO he wasn't really into any of them, TPTB probably just wanted someone who'd fulfill the brief and be easy for them to work with post-show.  Irena seems to have been a perfect choise in that regard.

I think the disjointed nature of this season is making it all so much worse. They obviously tried to push through with the usual narrative but with a huge break and then on fast forward. They are trying to tick off the ILY's and usual hiding F1 for the last part of the season but because its so rushed it feels super disjointed. For example having F1 first second date but then so quickly casting doubt/hiding F1 and amping up the F2 connection/chemistry. This would usually be spread over more episodes. Its actually lays the edit process quite bare. And is pretty boring. All JMO.

I've caught up on the Bella and Irena drama, TBPT have been disgusting this season with the narritives they're spinning to create villainous characters and put women against each other, I would not be shocked if Irena's edit takes a turn like Bella's, imo they are trying to establish  team Bella vs team Ireana. Yes the women have said and done some questionable things but it is so obviously over dramatized and no doubt alot is being edited out....It's just so choppy with the girls seemingly reacting to things us viewers aren't being shown. Thankfully the ratings are down this season so I'm hopefull TBPT will rethink their approach next season.

I haven’t watched for a while, but it sounds like a dumpster fire.
Did TPTB AU call TPTB US in January when Peter's season had started airing and said “This is your best work ever! How did you find this wuss, and how did you get everybody to act so crazy around him?”
And so they told them... sad

Yeah, but he was putting Locky on notice..More parents need to do this instead of acting like the leads are doing a favor by being with their kids.

Sorry. Not buying his schtick. He is playing a role just like she is. If I thought it was sincere it would be different, but I don't.

I’ll bet Bella is truly regretting giving them the “manipulative little b*tch” soundbite, I swear I’ve heard it more than once in a voice over.

HEA wrote:@Genevieve Australia Good Post  I agree 100%. Each season people target one girl and out of the blue she is hated and whatever she does or say is disturbingly twisted. This season, Bella. Probably because she was already an influencer. I wonder if she was a nurse she would have received the same hate because for me there is a lot of hypocrisy as nobody know them.... as usual. All IMO.

Exactly, @HEA!

Now that Steph is gone,  I see no chance for me to have any fun watching this show.  Steph can do so much better, and she knows it, but she was polite, we saw today that Steph has a great ability to empathise with people and she clearly does not like drama  or bitchiness. Izzy is a nice girl but I don't think they will be showing much of her. Unfortunately,  the producers are playing the Bella vs Irena angle and I have had enough of it. IMO  both women, Bella and Irena, display infantile behaviours and IMO both Bella and Irena are playing the game, it is just that Irena  is subtler than Bella, probably because due to her age Irena has learnt less obvious ways to manipulate situations, whilst Bella seems more inexperienced, thus Bella comes across as more immature. Admittedly,  Bella acted foolishly during the rose ceremony but during the group date Bella had a point. Irena was disrespectful. Irena drew a huge heart covering part of another girl's mark, when there was no need for it,  and I bet she knew it was Bella's because she was Bella's 'best friend', the contestants knew that Bella gave Locky a heart during the first night. Since I am don't care for Bella or Irena I can say it: both Bella and Irena bore me to death but, while I am indifferent to Bella's antics-partly due to her age- I really cannot stand Irena anymore, she is over 30 for god's sake, she should know better.  By the way, it seems that Bella was beloved by most of the nicest girls of the house so to me that means something.

IMO most of the people going to this show- all over the world- are wannabe 'celebrities'. This season is not different and the two frontrunners are not particularly likeable and are rather plain looking and uninteresting. I guess that's it for me this season.

I was very disappointed with Irina shenanigans. It showed a jealous girl. And you are so right about Bella was beloved by most of the girls of the house. There is no fire without smoke!! I read the interviews of Steph and others and they all say the same thing... there is way much to the feud we saw between Irina and Bella and they all stand behind Bella. So it is clear as day that Irina is the villain edited angel because she is F1, IMO.

Irina seems to me extremely manipulative. She doesn’t have a spontaneous outgoing personality. She seems cool and collected and I understand she attracts middle aged women versus an outgoing more emotional personality like Bella. It reminds me the stereotype We think  of eastern countries versus Italian .... reserved versus hot tempers. Irina and Bella fit this. IMO. Fans will always relate to the girl that is edited the way they like the most, regardless if we see frankenbites, cuts, edits all over the place to see an edited version of who they really are. IMO

I read that Irina “chooses” to go back to frontline for Covid. Good for her. However my jaded me asks. ... 1/ did she have a choice? 2/ did she help in the intensive Covid unit? It is easy to edit turn Someone’s a heroine, upon her own words only. But kudos if she treated Covid patients and kudos to her hospital to let her go back doing a tv reality show in the middle the pandemic. Must be a nice hospital to be so indulgent considering the shortages of nurses. IMO must ya been a real struggle for Irina to leave her job during this time... IMO.the jaded me says she is no angel.

Bella has now the F2 rejected behavior in Bondi. It is interesting how many alumni and girls are rallying behind her. IMO they know way more. The villain edits do not match reality IMO and they know it. Bec, Steph, Izzy, Nathan, probably more. Who is behind Irina? I didn’t read any name. That tells a lot. Bella is  friend with Laura, who with matty are fame hungry. That’s tell a lot too. They use the franchise, good for them. IMO

Have you noticed Locky body language when he kisses Irina and Bella. I see major differences. So the possibility that Bella rejected Locky at the finale is making sense. I personally see no long term between Irina and Locky. Locky is IMO not ready to settle down, be on the go for adventure when wifey is waiting at home and working at hospital, unless she quit her job for him... which I highly doubt. How long will take to Irina to move I wonder. What was her agenda when she decided to take a few months break from her nurse job?

I am not fond (understatement) of bullies right now who are very nasty on social media’s about Bella. She is young, pretty and her sins are to have an agenda or dated multiple men (yet to be confirmed because could very much be gossips so far)... ahem, how many young pretty girls in bondi AND worldwide fit this description? I bet a ton. IMO.

I cannot wait to see Bella in BIP and see how much fans will change their mind a la Alisha. If she finds luv, she is a winner. If she doesn’t, then it will depends how many attempts she tries. Eh, Ciarran? So loved and now so hated. Eh, Alisha? So hated and now so loved.  hehehe

So, IMO, edits are a pack of crapola either a girl ends F1 aka edited as an angel, either a girl  ends F2 aka a villain. That’s how Aussie producers work. We saw it in previous seasons IMO and it is a repeat IMO... regardless if reality is vastly different. IMO With Roxi departure and Juliette dramatic totally expected departure, producers needed to angle the finale and make the public root for the F1.iMO. Producers angled the jealousy 2 girls fighting for the love of the hero and the hero falling for both of them... how boring! Seen it, play and repeat. IMO

This season is very predictable, IMO. Let’s see if the finale won’t. I am rooting for Bella to reject him. That would be different.

Kudos to all the parents in this franchise. Much love to them!

All JMO
