Admittedly this info comes from Woman's Day via DM, but we've seen similar shenannigans in the past with other Leads (eg Matty/Laura) and it fits with what I'm seeing of Bella, and how she's being presented on the show and in official media, IMO.

The Bachelor hasn't even premiered yet, but it's already at the centre of a scandal.

On Monday, reports surfaced that Locky Gilbert had secretly guaranteed one of his contestants, Bella Varelis, a place in the final two before filming began.

According to Woman's Day, the 30-year-old got in touch with Bella, 25, via mutual friends earlier this year and they made a 'deal'.

'They have mutual friends and spoke before the show. There was chatter he promised her she'd be top two,' a source claimed.

They also alleged that Bella was a 'producer's pet' who played up her emotions and delivered for the cameras.

 For sure!  But looking at Laura's sm, she seems no different to the other girls, so imo she's putting on this million dollar princess facade.

It’s just that it’s a bit far fetched for Dean to have brought them together. They hung out for a few days, and then Dean went home to the US and met the love of his life a few month later. I doubt he stays in touch with Bella.
I mean that this connection could have started a rumor that may not be true (or the common friend is someone else).

Side note: She looks like a mix of Kristina and Caelynn in that picture. Dean definitely has a type.
