“I've decided I would like to retire very soon,” the 44-year-old told ETOnline.com at 102.7 KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert last weekend. “So, my son and my daughter, it's like Hunger Games. They're vying for my job. I would like one of them to take over soon.”

Now, it certainly seems like he might be joking, but then again, when the interviewer asked him about filling Michael Strahan’s newly-empty seat at Live! With Kelly, he repeated his intentions.

“No, I want to retire. I want to quit. Oh yeah, I'm leaving,” he quipped. “My kids are gonna work for me, and send me their checks, and I'm just gonna move to an island."
