Well now this is interesting. There's been a significant change in the betting odds. Winner still tipped to be male 25-30 but look at South Australia. And Sportsbet concurs so they're in the loop too IMO.

SA is never usually at the top of the odds for any of these shows. Old mate Kieran is 21 so it's not him but if there are any other male South Australians 25-30 put them down as one of the final two IMO.

Sportsbet are now naming names, with Daniel at the top of the ladder. He doesn't fit the age/state criteria though and 2.75 isn't short enough to convince me he wins - more likely IMO the winner is not on this list at all and has yet to be revealed.
I wonder how many contestants there will be all up.

@Bobette Daniel is 27 and was born in SA, so he does fit the 'state of origin' criteria from Sportsbet, but not TAB's location of winner

@Agent99 oh nice pick up! I didn't spot the discrepancy between state of origin and current location. Very interesting.

Daniel seems excited to get the show on the road.

First episode done, really very mediocre. Feels more like Survivor in a house than Big Brother imo.
- Spoiler:
- And of course a WOC is the first to go, how predictable for Australia tbh

Yeah I can't see myself watching much of this. No one particularly engaging or memorable. Daniel seemed to get a lot of airtime tonight and considering it would have been edited retrospectively I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up winning. Meh.

Yes, that's the main difference between our live (well, filmed within 24 hours at most) version and this version... there's no retrospective editing, the editors didn't know who was going to be a fave or who was going to be a dud, it felt much more authentic because of that. The old BB was setup so you really got to know the housemates.

Yeah the old BB was the best - I wouldn't even call this edited format BB; too much opportunity for the viewer's opinion to be moulded into liking/disliking people rather than being able to make up our own minds. Also makes it obvious who they're setting up to win.
And speaking of which, odds for Daniel and Chad have narrowed so definitely seems like they're the final 2 (unless there are any latecomers). According to the wiki bios there are no males 25-30 from SA so having SA with the shortest odds was probably a red herring.

Chad fits the other criteria (27 and from NSW) and there's been plenty of media buzz about him this week ("scandalous" nude photos, links to Bach chicks, and he apparently has a showmance with one of the girls while in the house) so expect to see him at the end IMO.
Yawn.
