The 'do comes in handy when you're bored with your usual look and want something dramatic—but not too drastic like this or, say, this—to spiff up your hairstyle. There's also the added bonus that you don't have to get your eyebrows done as often.

But let's be blunt: The look can be tricky to pull off, because not everyone is Justin Bieber...

Alison Hannigan (How I met your mother) did the style a few years ago - it didn't work for her either. Uma's looks the least abrasive, since the length is much shorter.

I like her w/ bangs and the warm tones - as it is here on the top of the forum page, the photo of her with the roses. I also always loved her look on the night of the 2nd episode cocktail party / rose ceremony. She was beautiful with the bangs and long straight hair. It was a very sexy look.

When The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert wanted a new ‘do, she asked the Twitterverse for advice. “Ok everyone. Need a new hair style… Any ideas?!?” she tweeted. Days later, she traded in her long light brown locks for a deep brunet above-the-shoulder style with blunt bangs. Hebert tweeted, “Cleopatra comin atcha!” Do you like her new look? Plus, see who else chopped and dyed their hair in the gallery!

JMO--this new cut/color looks very harsh on her, not her best look. JMO--and I think she is a very pretty young lady in many ways (inside and out).
