Ok here we go season 10 of the Ukraine Bachelor. At first some interesting information about the new season. Usually the filming for the new season started late August or early September but not this time. The crew took some time to find the right person for the 10th anniversary. So because of that they postponed the filming for three months. They started filming the season in December the 5th. And they are still in the process of filming it. I would say they need two or three weeks to finish the season.

The premiere date of the new season is march the 6th!

Ok I want to try something new. The first episode is 3 hours long and it is time consuming to translate it all word for word. So I had a new idea. I am gonna write a short review about the episode so you kinda get a sense what was going on. Later during the week I am gonna pick some scenes which I think are important for the future progress of the season and translate it word for word. But if you liked some particular contestant or you think you want to know in a certain moment what was said or discussed, you are welcome to write it in the thread and I am gonna translate it. Don’t be too shy about it. I am actually welcoming it because it is easier for me to understand what or who you find interesting.

Here is the preview video for the season!

Episode 1 Part 1:

So the episode obviously starts with the introduction of Max. (I am gonna translate his introduction later)

Basically he is telling us about his passion for flying. Since he was a kid he dreamed about it to be a pilot.
About his past relationship. He was in a serious relationship for more than 4 years ( I posted here some time ago some the pics with his ex).

After that we see a short sequence of the finale from the previous 9 seasons. Plus they are showing a snippet from the moment when Nikita asked Dasha to marry her. And they both wishing Max to find the one.

Next is the preview for the season. Oh boy that looks intense, insane, sexual, adventures, romantic, scandalous and dramatical all in one ( I am gonna make later a separate post for the preview of the season).

First one who arrives is Alina. Max is not there instead Grisha is welcoming her. She arrived so early because she wanted to prepare a surprise for Max with the help of the producers.  She sings so she wants to sing for him.

Max arrives. Grisha welcomes him. His name is actually Maksim but he prefers Max.

We see girls arrive. They all are excited to see how the Bachelor looks like. It’s the first season since a long time where the women have no idea who the Bachelor is. Previously it was announced a few days before the filming started. This season they had no clue who to expect.

We start with the entrance of the women.

Kristina: 23 years old, pre school teacher. Her family is not very wealthy. She is a dreamer who likes fairytales. He liked her.

Leana: 30 years old works in an IT-Company as an operational manager. She has two university degrees. And a hell lot hobbies like horse riding, photoshop, boxing, volunteer teacher and many more. She speaks fluently five languages Ukraine, Armenian, English and Russian. And knows not so good Spanish, French and German. She spoke with Max on Arminian language he tried to answer her in the same language. He told her that one of his best friend is an Armenian so he knows the basics.

Anna: no introduction video of her. She is 23 years old and is a painter. She brought him a painting. He liked her eyes. He said she has very beautiful eyes.

Natalia: 25 years old. She is junior partner in a Swiss Investment Company. Was in a serious relationship for three years. Her ex wanted kids and a family and she was not ready at that time. She wanted to make a career. She told him that usually she is someone who is planning things but now she is ready for more spontaneous things in her life to happen like love which you can’t plan. So as a spontaneous
gesture Max decided to carry her on his hands till the mansion. She was impressed.

The other women in the mansion were impressed as well. They were curious why he did that.

Next limo with new women. They are hilarious especially Lera. She is telling the women that she had a bad dream that the Bachelor was not attractive at all. The others said that it is actually a good sign it means it’s going to be the other way around.

Elena: 27 years old. She is telling a funny story in her introduction video how she finally made it to the casting of the Bachelor. She brought him self-made pickles.

Anya: no introduction video. She is a lawyer and 25 years old. She has a contract with her. Kinda like a fun test. He liked her. Said she is a great girl very smart and intelligent.

In the mansion girls are questioning Anya. Where she is from? And other questions.

Olga: 22 years old. Is assistent of a minister. She is saying her work environment is not the right place for searching after Mr. Right. She said he has cold hands. Max answered you know what they say in that case that I am gonna have a beautiful wife. She asked him his favorite dish. He told her that he likes to eat fish.

Inside the mansion Olga asked for a menu card and ordered two dishes with fish.
The other women were curious what she had planed and asked her but she said that it’s a surprise.

Lera: (I don`t know but she is actually really hilarious. Great sense of humor). She is 25 years old and something like an arthouse manager. No idea how to translate it properly.
Her gift is natural oil. People in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus are often saying something like „I hope everything is going to be smoothly like oil for you“. It’s like they are wishing that everything is turning out well for that human. So that’s the trick with her gift. It is funny Max catched the joke.

Lera walked into the mansion and made immediate an impression on the other women. Natalia said regards Lera „she is really beautiful“. Anya said to Lera „I think the girls at the other table are in love with you“. Lera „you think so? Yeah I like them too.“

Well that was crazy and obviously producer driven. There was a woman hiding in the car trunk. She said she likes new experiences. Her name is Yana she is 25 years old. Max said he found it strange. Plus she asked him to wear her on his hands inside. Confusion in the mansion.

In the mansion the women are surprised to see Yana because she was not in the limo with the last four women. Everyone is asking each other where she came from. Yana told them about her car trunk stunt and the women started to poke jokes about it.

The first impression rose:
Grisha is bringing Max a video from the mother of one of the contestants. In the video the mother is describing her daughter as kind hearted, loving, honest…as someone who is nice and humble. Someone who loves kids and rescues animals. She is saying that unfortunately men often judging her by her looks and not by her soul. At the end she is asking Max if he is ready to give her daughter the rose without seeing her before. Max said that he is ready to risk it because he likes her mom she seemed to him like a nice and intelligent woman. So he thinks that her daughter takes after her.
When that woman will arrive Grisha is going to give her that rose.

Next limo with girls is on the way. They seem not so friendly with each other. They are trying to stab each other with comments about their gifts or the choice of their dresses.

Alyona: 23 years old. She has her own business production media group. She is very ambitious and wants her man to be ambitious as well. He liked the idea with the wings.

Everyone in the mansion is discussing her dress. Someone is asking if she is the angel of love. Olga said she looks great in that dress and is inviting her to sit down. Lera I asking if it is not better to take the wings off. They are asking Alyona how she likes Max? Alyona said that she likes him. She likes that he is not too think so she can properly hug him.
And Lera is responding „What you hugged him already?“ Alyona „and he smells good.“
Lera „hold on a minute and you smelled on him too? What is going on here?“ Everyone laughs.

Vika: no introduction video. She gave him a „golden fish“ so he has three wishes free. His first wish was to know her name.

Aliona: 26 years old.  She is working as assistent in a software company. Her hobby is pool dance. So there is going to be a pool dance. Max said that she probably has the longest legs of all the contestants he saw till now.

In the mansion girls are curious about Aliona.
Olga said „you have really beautiful long legs“. Olga „will you dance for us?“. Aliona „Yes“. Someone is asking „are you a stripper?“ Lera „niceee“. Aliona „No pool dance is my hobby“.

Dasha: 23 years old. Master of rhythm gymnastic. In her introduction video she is telling that when she was 10 years old she moved away from home to train, live and study in a boarding school. She told that it was hard. That the training methods were brutal. It was a drill and that their coaches often were beating them if they made mistakes during their training session. Dasha will dance as well later.

They are showing pretty quick other new girls. There are no introduction videos of them.

Hi! My name is Max and I am the Bachelor.

I am a pilot. It was always my dream to fly. In my childhood I was sitting and waiting for a plane in the sky. Everything about it is fascinating the cabin and the overview.

I was working in a security, as a constructor, at a slaughterhouse. I was a real estate agent, booker…all these jobs made it possible to me to finance my education as pilot. I studied at the most expensive and the best academy for pilots in the US. I also worked for a long time as an fly instructor at an fly academy. I liked it a lot. So after that I thought why not open up my own fly school. The name of my fly school is „Flymax“ it is based in Florida.

The most serious love I has was with a girl with whom I lived together for more than four years. We bought a house and started to feel comfortable together in it. I introduced her mum to my parents but then something happened. After that moment after which I decided that there is not possible for us to build a family together…betrayal…after such things I don’t see a future for a relationship.

I want to meet the one with whom I can build a life together. I think that love can happen anytime and everywhere so why not here on the project?!
