Bachelorette 16 - Clare Crawley & Tayshia Adams - Media SM - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Clare said in that podcast filming will start "very very soon" so I would think casting is done by now. There's always last minute changes but they've had plenty of time to sort it all out IMHO.

@Amethyst I forget where I read it, but Bachelorette will be on Tuesday nights so DWTS can retain their Monday nights. Maybe @bluwavz posted RS twitter? IIRC

@Sprite IA to me it's the same every season, so I don't expect any different for Clare's season. I think she is going to have to really fall in love with someone who is willing to move to her IMHO which is pretty much the same situation every season.

In terms of the cast, they released 32 guys that were set to be on her season back in March. Clearly not all of them will be back on. They did recast. How many? I don’t know if it’s 5, 10, half the cast? Of new names I have, they definitely went older, so that’s good I guess.

We will know the new cast when they release them, prob middle of July before filming begins since that’s what they’ve done the last 4 or 5 seasons. I don’t know who’s being replaced from the original 32 (obviously besides Matt James), but they are skewing older from what I have.

And hopefully now that they know it's Clare and they have no chance at the Bachelor, some might have dropped out who were not there "for the right reasons".

In a very rare occasion, like never, I watched the vid with RS. (because I didn't realize he was actually on the podcast)

He mentions my concerns on how they are going to contain their bubble that they create. Millsy stated they will get tested then a week later (which is not the standard 14 day period) they will start filming. My opinion is everyone must stay put at the resort after being tested. How are they going to get food in, RS mentions the staff at the resort, his opinion, they'll go home at the end of the day. That's not going to work when trying to stop the spread IMHO.

TPTB have a huge challenge ahead of them and as I stated before, they obviously know that and would have to make sure all the necessary precautions are being taken before during and after filming.

He's not worried about spoilers, but doesn't think he'll be getting them as quick as previous seasons because obviously there won't be SM pics of Clare out on public dates or just out in general. He says the names of new guys that he has are in their low to mid 30's. If I  understood correctly he doesn't know who was originally announced that won't be on the season and says we won't know until the cast are announced.

I like that. SM activity has been kind to us over the years for sleuthing. I'm sure if whoever was cast originally but is now out, will be on SM to prove they are out.

Thanks for bringing this over. It must be the quarantine, or whatever, but I'm developing a soft spot for RS. YIKES. Also, now more than usual, I think many of us are so happy for a fun diversion. Can't wait!

@pavalygurl I'm looking forward to the diversion as well. Mainly because I want to see how creative they can be. Bottom line, this franchise is a business, money and ratings is all that matters IMHO but the production is going to be different and I'm curious to see how it all unfolds. New announcements for American's travelling to Europe, therefore we can learn from Clare's season for Matt's season because as I mentioned in his threads, I can't see his season being much different when it comes to travelling JMHO's.

Clare finding love will be bonus!

(SPOILER UPDATE): Right area, wrong resort. Clare and her guys will be filming her season exclusively at the La Quinta Resort & Club (@LaQuintaResort) in La Quinta, CA, not the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs. The guys are arriving today.
