This isn’t the first dating show for former radio lad Jesse Williamson, who once tried to find love on First Dates New Zealand. Back then, he was looking for a ‘short girl with darker hair that can handle his family.’ Good news – Lesina has dark brown hair, so one box ticked!

Having worked a variety of roles over at Hauraki, ZM and helping out at the ACC, Jesse made a move overseas. He’s now a bartender in Whistler, Canada!

Jesse has flown all the way back home for a shot with our Bachelorette.

He can talk till the cows come home, but will his chat charm this time around?

What will your friends and family say when they find out you are part of the show?

They will definitely be surprised when they see me on the show. They will probably think it’s outrageous, as they usually do. But nothing out of the ordinary for me.

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Jennifer Aniston and Mila Kunis.

I have six sisters and two brothers.

What do you want to get out of this experience?

I have no expectations. I don’t even know who the person is, so it’s a big leap. It’s quite hard to say what I want out of it, because if it’s not the right person for me, then I’m not going to pursue something that’s not right for me. But if it is, then hopefully something cool will happen.
