I guess I'm the only one here for the battleliscious and gore scenes.
I loved the books and transferred over to the HBO series, but fear Martin is never going to complete. This may be as close as his fans get to an end.

If anyone has not read the books, I highly recommend them. For the most part, they do mirror the HBO series about 75% or so, but IMO are so much better.
They are lengthy, but fly by.
