Angie Kent - Carlin Sterritt - Bachelorette Australia - Season 5 - Discussion

For an unemployed 30 year old bogan Angie sure does have a high opinion of herself IMO.  Probably just jealous she won't have Mr Italy pretending to like her like Elly and Becky will.  

IMO overall Angie’s cast was the most unattractive in the AU franchise, I wonder if that’s because that’s all they got to apply as she was announced so far in advance, or if it’s because she misrepresented herself with the whole “quirky bogan” thing, so that’s what she got, while Elly and Becky were more “GIVE US HOT GUYS!”

Ugh as usual it's the hypocrisy that bugs me. That's probably my number one pet peeve always. own your sh*t!

Angie, you have been on THREE reality TV shows. You are NOT in a position to be holier than thou about other people's TV aspirations!

@leavers I agree - the hypocrisy is what gets me too.  

Angie: Goes on multiple reality TV shows to get famous and further her career.

Also Angie: "Contestants must only be on the show to date me and not to get famous or further their career".

Also Angie:  Chooses someone who's own brother told her went on the show to get famous further his acting career.

I think that's because she didn't know what she wanted, and never really wanted a relationship at all. Which is imo yet another reason she shouldn't be getting upset that people were on her season for reasons other than dating her

Did anyone else think of Angie when Alisha was talking about Jamie and Litney on BIP and said ‘if you looked up hypocrisy in the dictionary, you’d see a picture of Jamie’?.  Seriously I just laughed and thought ‘nope, Angie Kent owns it!’.

It’s been so blatantly obvious that Angie has one rule on how she expects to be treated and another rule for how she treats others. The pages on here are full of examples and they only touch on half of it. She just keeps giving with examples of inconsistencies and a grab for exposure and dollars imo. But all seems to be working for her which I find sad on a few levels because it reinforces that 'bullsh*t really does sell'.

I haven’t bothered posting about her for ages because honestly I’ve just come to the conclusion that the only thing I see as real or consistent in Angie’s behaviour is that she markets the sh*te out of any opportunity for her own agenda, and uses her massive marketing and media background to the max (if you don’t know what I mean about ‘massive marketing’ background – check out her LinkED in profile https://au.linkedin.com/in/angie-kent-73870656).

She cant let go and try to be relevant with The Bachie franchise. Instead of forgetting about the bad experience on The Bachelorette, she still bring it up.

Amongst the absolute emotional and physical pandemonium of 9 weeks of filming all leading up to this day. A freakishly sweltering hot one at that, I was as nude as the day is long under that heavily beaded dress that probably weighed as much as me at the time, buckets of sweat accumulating which is exactly what you want on what felt like one of the biggest days of my life.

At one point I even had sneakers on so I didn’t have to wear my heels while I hiked through a forest on finale day for hours on end....as glamorous as it looked, it surely was not, I think I cried from stress / fear of the unknown pretty much all day long off and on. BUT with saying this, it really was still one of THE most emotional yet magical and absolutely beautiful days I have ever seen and experienced to date. It really was my fairytale ending.

But for today, due to now new matters of the heart, and to celebrate one year on, It will go down as the day that this little sweaty bod that trenched through the forests of byron bay, got to wear THE exact same @steven_khalil dress Kylie Jenner wore on her bod at the 2015 grammys after party.

So in conclusion I have technically rubbed bods with a billionaire ‍� When two worlds collide hey. Who woulda’ thought. Me in me runners wearing Kylie Jenners dress. Now that’s ultimate class finale goals. Beat that this years bachette finale! Dare ya !

Really...she thinks "ultimate class finale goals" is recycling some dress an 18 yr old (at the time), who represents everything wrong with Instagram/celebrity culture, wore in 2015? Is she also the inspiration for Angie's constant flow of fillers?

And in the comments she says she was "impressed" the dress still smelled like Kylie Jenner's armpits.  Wow, so classy.

If there was any doubt Angie is a clueless, desperate, fame-seeking bogan, she just removed it.  Worst.  Lead.  Ever, IMO.

She's just embarrassing herself at this point IMO.     What 30 yo posts a picture of themselves wearing the stinky pit-stained hand-me-down dress of an 18 yo (at the time) US "socialite" and then asks who wore it better?  Ummm.... obviously, she did?  But of course, Angie will delete/block anyone who points that out.

And "daring" the 2020 season to have a better finale just shows how insecure she is.  The 2020 Leads are no prize turkeys themselves and yet she clearly feels threatened.  Anyway, since this is the last "this time last year" pic she'll be able to post, I'm sure she'll move on to other things and never mention Bette again.
