With Carlin having mental health issues, you think Angie will be supportive as she also mentioned before she has her up and down.

The lockdown didn't help where there is no work, nothing to promote on Instagram. Also Angie didn't get anymore gig with Studio 10 (she didn't contribute much anyway).

I still don't think Carlin is a registered PT. He could do some personal training with clients. He can still charge a high fee because of his profile. We never have any photos of him training clients other than working for F45.

Right, Carlin just works at F45 AFAIK. Gyms are pretty much back in full swing (with social distancing, cleaning etc) so hopefully he'll start to feel a bit more mentally healthy. God knows covid restrictions can make anyone feel like they're losing it.

As for their clashing values... no duh. We discussed that when the show was airing as a big reason why they'd never work. Yes, he loves his shiny Instagram aesthetic but I really feel like he's also a genuine person and his church means a lot to him. My theory is Carlin and Angie, while they probably did have an actual attempt at dating* post-show, were IMO steered into it by TPTB who wouldn't have wanted another Honey Badger situation. It's all just optics and probably was always just optics. I don't know why TPTB don't realise that we're smart enough to see that and that we want something more genuine from the show.

We can handle a series that ends in no pick! We're not babies! We won't throw tantrums! laugh out loud

*and I really do just mean dating. Not a relationship. Even the couples that do work long-term say you pretty much start fresh once it stops filming.

Yikes: Angie Kent Just Gave An Interview About Her Split From Carlin & It Sounds Shady As F**k

Last night, Carlin Sterritt and Angie Kent took to Instagram to confirm that they had, indeed, split. Thus ending weeks of speculation.

Their initial breakup posts seemed very amicable, with Angie initially writing that she wishes her now-ex “nothing but the best in the future.”

But now she’s given a subsequent interview and it sounds like things were a little less peachy than the breakup posts would have us believe.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Angie said: “Chemistry doesn’t always equal compatibility. We gave it our all and it didn’t work out.” Fair point, no?

Wait for this.

“Our values didn’t align,” she added. “Both Carlin and I will never give personal details.” Hm, so the [fact] that there are ~personal~ details that are worth broaching, but not worth specifying, is very suss to me.

“Out of respect for Carlin I will not reveal the personal workings of our relationship,” she concluded and yeah, I give it a month, then it’ll either be aired via an IG post that’ll amass loads of likes and headlines or through a spicy interview.

This isn’t the last we’ve heard of this breakup – I guarantee it. There’s some behind the scenes tea just waiting to be spilled.

Re: the bold, that sounds like a veiled threat to me, or at least a reminder to Carlin to keep his mouth shut and stick to whatever story they've cooked up or she'll start dropping truth bombs/pointing fingers.

Wouldn't be surprised if the "values" of which she speaks relate to his conservative/church-centric lifestyle. They certainly seemed to align in other areas (shilling, fame-seeking, a love of cosmetic procedures...)

Also wouldn't be shocked if it comes out their relationship didn't extend to the bedroom - they never gave off an intimate vibe to me and she was evasive/unconvincing when the topic was broached IMO.

See, this is the type of thing that really bugs me. I’m usually pretty entertained when people are messy after breakups and decide to spill the tea, but I hate the fake high road BS. She talks about respecting Carlin, then says a bunch of vague stuff that’s clearly designed to make him out to be the bad guy. Either say it clearly or shut up. All jmo.

@ReneeM she was already planting the seeds of that a couple of weeks back by liking posts about people "not being what they seemed" or some such. Only a matter of time before she starts wedging Carlin under the bus IMO.

Unfortunately for Angie, the rude way she's been speaking to people in her comments on IG has made her look very harsh/cold, and Carlin will garner the majority of public sympathy IMO (which will probably annoy her no end laugh out loud

).

Yeah, I’m on Team Carlin in this sh*tshow, despite the shilling I get more of a low key vibe off him, IMO he will stay classy until Angie throws him under the bus, which I fully expect her to do.

I know you're being facetious, but Carlin is a Hillsong devotee and Angie has been outspoken about not being religious. In no way, shape or form can 2 people with opposite views about religion make it work.

I do think that in some cases two people of *different* religions can make it work with LOADS of compromise, but a religious person and a non-religious person? No chance.

They should have had that discussion on the show but that's once again on tptb, who don't seem to want or like deep and meaningful discussions like that on the Australian show.
