The TV couple face life in the real world - is it over already?

Is there trouble in paradise already for Bachelorette Angie Kent and her chosen love, Carlin Sterritt?

Far from still being in the honeymoon stage, the duo appeared tense as they were spotted together in a Melbourne shopping centre.

The incident comes as it was revealed that Angie has been sending emotional messages to former contestants Timm Hanly AND Ciarran Stott.

And close friends of the 29-year-old ex-Goggleboxer fear she is having second thoughts after choosing winner Carlin Sterrit.

They believe she feels 'awkward and uncomfortable' showcasing a romance that might not be real.

These revelations come amid shock rumours backstage crew on The Bachelorette wished she had chosen Timm over Carlin.

Angie has made no secret of the fact she and Timm have chatted since the show ended even though she’s breaking her contract with Channel Ten.

She announced on The Project, 'Timm is one of those people, I am one of those people, when I make a connection with somebody, I don't care about contracts,' she said.

But it’s unlikely show bosses or Carlin know that friends believe she is exchanging Instagram messages with Ciarran, who was forced to quit The Bachelorette suddenly after his grandmother died.

‘Ciarran and Angie weren’t in touch at all during the run of the show,’ said one friend. ‘But there have now been emotional messages. They definitely still have a strong connection.’

‘They had such a bond, no-one is surprised," added the friend. "Her friends all think Ciarran could have won and says she looks awkward and uncomfortable whenever she’s with him because she has doubts.

Angie this week revealed that she and her chosen man will not be moving in together – adding to speculation that she isn’t convinced they can last as a couple.

‘I will be looking at moving back to Sydney at the beginning of next year,’ the Bachelorette told Vogue Australia.

‘That's kind of what we've had a chat about. Not together, we don't want to live together yet.’

The 29-year-old added how they wanted to focus on dating in the real world first.

But judging by these photos, their TV romance is now very much stuck in the real world.

We all know that these trash tabloids are following them and wait to take pictures where they are not ‘ all smiles’ to fit the narrative of possible trouble. The oldest trick in the pap’s book. Many celebrities have sued them over stuff like that.
My take: they are SHOPPING TOGETHER . That’s the message. If there was trouble they wouldn’t even plan to eat together so even less shopping together. That’s a real life, normal thing you do as couples.

About Ciarran. He left abruptly and based in the interview that Angie gave, she is a caring person and doesn’t give a F of her contract and will reach out to a friend. She ‘ possibly ‘ has reached him to check how he is doing after his loss. And who is privy to her ‘ emotional messages’ yes, emotion if she is having sympathy for her friends loss. And we have no proof of that anyway.

She will be moving back to Sydney and they agreed to not live together. VERY WISE decision. They are starting to date and it’s a good idea to do all that in time.when THEY are ready, not to please anyone. Were all the other successful couples living together right after the finale. I think not. This is bull rap and we know it.

As I said before, they just have more material to work with in terms of gossips. I still believe, to my surprise, I admit, in what I heard and saw on their live interview rather than these trashy click bait news.

The only thing that shocks me about these trashy, unsubstantiated gossip stories is they haven't included 'Angie is wearing a loose fitting denim jacket to hide her baby bump'. @Astrobach I forgot to add I agree with your post about the 'reality' of the rumours printed. Photographers wait in hiding for the royals to get a photo of them with a frown to write an article about a royal bust up. It seems Angie and Carlin have something in common with Royalty.

Well, you don’t need to be royalty these days, unfortunately. If you’re a public figure and you can help generate sales or clicks, then the paps are there to supply made up stories. This couple is now fresh meat for them. Until the next, more current known figure gets targeted.
This is a rampant and I’m afraid international issue that has just gone from bad to worse with our tech savvy times.

@Astrobach yes I should've added any well known public figure. I volunteer at a nursing home that gets the magazines not sold from a supplier ( I'm not sure who). Every week that I can think of Royalty has been on the cover, lady Diana still sells magazines. The sad thing is the stories are false but the residents tend to believe what they read, but most are confused so I make allowances.

I would be SHOCKED if they lasted. Nothing against either of them, but I just don't think he'd even glance her way if they met IRL (and I suspect Angie thinks that too). All JMO.

Go take a look at their actual real IG stories and see for yourself how they interact.
Nothing fake there IMO. There is an IG site that keeps all their live stories and it’s pretty revealing. I was pleasantly surprised. :swinginglove

It could be, Angie's Z celebrity status helps to sell gossip, but I won't completely dismiss all these reports, yet I cannot take them seriously either. These full of merd# magazines publish something different each week. New Idea contradicted itself a week ago. This is the same trash that has published lies about Hollywood, the royalty, and celebrities, and even those who sue them cannot stop them because they make more money by selling lies than by paying compensation. Think about the trashiest magazines you have in the US, Astrobach, think of Radar online; well, these tabloids are just as bad as Radar! I won't let rubbish media manipulate me. Having said that, I still have to consider the fact that some of this may be true.

According to what @Bobette shared, the tabloids have some shots of a conversation that took place via sms, the contestants who participated in the conversation affirmed that Carlin is genuine but that Angie isn't and all that she wants is to rise her profile; in this case we have the opposite of what the show edit suggested and what the general public believed, because Carlin was portrayed as the one that may not have been completely honest and Angie as the transparent person. I did ask myself, why are they doing that? Are they making up a story to make Angie look better than Carlin even if that is not true, just in case they break up? I never doubted Carlin's intentions because I know people who know him, and I see here that other two posters also know people who are friends with Carlin and all agree that he is a very lovely guy, sincere and transparent. Angie though...all I know of her is based on what I see this season, I like how she and Carlin behaved during the interviews but other than that I don't have a well formed opinion of her. They look happy to me and the grocery shopping shot is just how most couples may look when they are thinking about what to buy next, or what to do next, or texting friends to organise dinner. I will have to wait and see.
