Human Lie Detector already see flaws with Renee and Matt relationship

Unless Jackson is wearing platforms, I don't think so.

I find the building the raft 'challenge' contrived. Anyone who have experience studying human behaviour and neurosciences can tell you that one thing is to build a boat and another thing is to face a real life problem. One is optional in a silly show the other one is about reality. My husband and I would have the worst time building a raft because we are not that good at building anything, we even kill our plants!  We are fun, sociable, fit  but also very intellectual people, we are vain too, and we love fashion, traveling, arrt, fine dining we live in front of the beach, we travel but we are hopeless at working with our hands. There are things we are happy to do even if we don't need to and others that would frustrate us.  If we faced that challenge we would probably said that we don't care to do it! or laugh all the time. The mere stupidity of the challenge would annoy us. That has nothing to do with a real life situatio. It would be an awful time to make a raft because it would be boring in a place in which we want to have fun. Context is key!

Frankly a guy like the 'human lie detector' on a show like this. He is trying to analyse very different behaviour. For example, questioning Mia about her use of the word 'honestly'....just forced. I would like to know how many peer-reviewed articles he has written. Seriously, expecting someone to see a future with another person after 3 or 4 days... Poor Scott. As for Connor responding rapidly, he is honest, but someone hesitating, trying to articulate his/her ideas clearly doesn't make that person false. Finally, there are people who have some mental health issues, some are on the spectrum, others just difficult focusing, etc, they may react to these questions differently and that doesn't mean they are not genuine. Even the FBI will take hours of interviewing one single person to be able to have an idea about their profile. Just absurd!

Thus far the most enjoyable and fun part has been that talk between Alex and Keira.
ETA: I am not saying that 'The Human Lie Detector' comments are completely incorrect but he is making huge generalisations. Any therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist will tell you that to be able to actually understand and read the other person first the interviewer and the client must build rapport. This guy is asking invasive questions. I actually find unethical from TB to push the contestants to do this, this will not pass an Ethics committee. In fact, it could be quite damaging to a contestant's mental health.

Ooooh, Alisha found a ring in Renee's luggage for Ciarran that's datestamped with Renee and Ciarran's first date.

It was all about how they communicate and work together. I said exactly the same things as he did when I was watching. Glenn and Alisha communicated well which their relationship is based on - and such an important thing in any relationship. Whereas Matt and Renee, and Ciarran and Kiki were snippy at each other - the first red flag to problems.

Wow. We have such different perspectives of what "fun" is. That conversation was dull and went on too long and ugh. I couldn't wait for them to get off my screen.

Come on @Genevieve Australia, aren't you familiar with the Bachelor logic that building rafts/skydiving/jumping off buildings etc are prerequisites to be able to fall in love? BachInParadiseAU - Bachelor In Paradise Australia - Season 3 - Episodes - Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - Page 51 1f605 we all know from TPTB that unless you enjoy extreme sports or Survivor-like challenges you are apparently unworthy of a relationship...

Okay, this episode is jumping all over the place. Lish has been in 3 different outfits but it's the same day? They're now back in their pre raft clothes.

Kiki and Ciarran trying to see themselves to the lie detector and lying straight out. What a surprise. Fake AF.

"If you're asking me if I think there's a future there? Not at all. It's more staged than anything.." YESS LIAM NEESON!

Renee designed the ring with Cass. Wowow. Plot twist. Cass is full of it for trying to have a go with Ciarran at the start. She's just as guilty. She wasn't a friend in that situation.

I don't like Ciarran but Renee is a mess! Seriously, if she had some self-respect, why did she go to BIP. She knew Ciarran was going to be there. She is not taking responsibilities for her own decision post-break up. I think she may want Ciarran back. For what I have seen he has apologised for cheating on her but seriously....Renee is so no over him...and she is using Matt. Poor Matt, I think he is genuine.

@Butteflylove I don't like Cassandra but she did not try to be with Ciarran, in fact, she didn't even let him kiss her, I think she was testing it otherwise Renee would not have continue being friends with Cass. That is the edit. Jess told Ciarran he was not friends with Renee anymore. Anyway, both are a mess but Renee chose to humiliate herself in public and that is not Ciarran's fault. And now Renee is even saying that she and Ciarran had an agreement to go to BIP, yet she played the victim that she is also guilty, yet Alisha is excusing Renee's behaviour...clearly, Renee also used the show and Matt to get attention! Both Ciarran and Renee are awful!
