Channel 10 has confirmed that Osher Günsberg will be absent for several episodes on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

This is because he is self-isolating in Melbourne following a coronavirus outbreak last month on set of The Masked Singer, which he also hosts.

The Bachelorette is currently being filmed at a mansion in Oxford Falls, Sydney.

A network spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: 'He will not appear in some of the later episodes due to quarantine restrictions.'

Despite missing several episodes this season, Osher remains the official host of the dating show.

Channel 10 did not confirm whether a temporary replacement had been arranged.

Rumours are swirling that The Project's Tommy Little or former Bachelorette Sophie Monk could possibly step in.

Production on The Masked Singer Australia will reportedly resume this coming week, perhaps even as early as Monday.

According to the Sunday Herald Sun, it's understood producers are keen to film the grand finale episode immediately, which is scheduled to air on Channel Ten on September 14.

As of August 22, production was shut down due to a coronavirus outbreak.

Becky and Elly Miles began filming the sixth season of The Bachelorette in July.

And according to New Idea, Becky, 30, is on track to find love on the dating show, but her younger sister Elly, 25, isn't.

'There are whispers that love is definitely in the air for Becky,' an insider told the publication.

They added: 'Unlike Elly, who loves to be the centre of attention, no one really knew who Becky was, but she really surprised everyone.'

The source also claimed 'there was some jealously between the sisters' because Elly is used to being 'in the spotlight'.

'While Elly is used to the spotlight, Becky definitely stole it and there was a bit of jealousy,' they said.

She signed on to be the next Bachelorette alongside her sister. And while we're yet to see Becky and Elly Miles' journey to find love play out on screen, New Idea understands at least one of them has walked away from the show one very happy lady.

Meanwhile, it seems Elly already has her heart set on another Bachie alum.  The 25-year-old was spotted working out at a gym with Bachelor in Paradise contestant and Angie Kent's ex, Jackson Garlick.  

Posting pictures to his Instagram account, the handsome football player revealed he and Elly have been enjoying sweat sessions together in Sydney's Bondi with another of Angie's ex-boyfriends, Carlin Sterritt.
