But if you're shopping for your wedding gown with the media in tow for a second time, it might be a wee bit disingenuous to say it's the first time you've pictured your wedding. It reminds me of the way the Kardashians all acted like Kim's marriage and wedding was such a "once in a lifetime event," even though she'd been married before. Nothing to be ashamed off, but no need for revisionist history, either. Then again, those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. I'm sure Holly will make a similar statement when she's planning her next wedding too.

Glad you said it and not me. Smiley

All I think about the whole Holly statement about her wedding is if you accept an engagement...how can she say shes never pictured her wedding before? Was she planning on staying engaged to Michael for her whole life. Not insensitive (maybe a little)...maybe wrong choice of words!

Holly said, during BP2 that she broke off the engagement with Michael because they argued all the time and couldn't help but noticed from watching BP2, he more than just a bit passive aggressive --- the guy has issues.

Anyway, could very well be that she really meant it when she said she couldn't really imagine her wedding before planning one with Blake, in that being engaged to Michael might have been emotionally exhausting.

I thought I heard she had been planning a double wedding with Deanna? Doesn't sound like someone who couldn't imagine her wedding. IDK, I am not a fan of Holly or Blake. But if they are happy with each other more power to them.

Sometimes you plan something because you know it is coming up and is supposed to be happening but you just can't see it or imagine what it will be like actually doing it...then when it is the right time and right place you can visualize every aspect and can see yourself actually doing it. So maybe that is what she meant......she might have been planning for a wedding with Michael but couldn't really visualize it where now she can.

When you think about it, it was no more insensitive than the leads talking about how in love they are with their f1 and it was always them.

I have a bad feeling about them. I don't know Holly at all but I did watch Blake during Ash's season. He doesn't strike me as a very kind or patient man. I suspect once the honeymoon is over his controlling nature will emerge and he will start treating her as though she is stupid. What seems cute now will become irritating to him. Sure hope I am wrong. :Frown:

Love - the right kind of love - is not the only reason people accept a proposal. She just may never have been "there" emotionally with Michael. I know of a person who accepted a proposal from someone who she deemed to be a good man and someone she liked a great deal. She accepted because she didn't want to hurt his feelings by declining him, and she felt there was enough love between them to "make a marriage work". She never had the image of a marriage in her mind either. They married. They divorced. It's great that Holly is so happy and I believe Blake really enjoys her and loves her in his life.
