I know, boy, has she moved on.

When copying that picture over here, I scrolled back and there it was, the blackberry pictorial history of her and Michael's relationship ...

I am not up on their exact history, but appeared the two broke up in March, and even before March, not much.

Holly said she had never felt for anyone as she feels for Blake. Maybe she and Michael were one of those couples that were together because they were so perfect for one another and not really about love ...

Maybe I'm very cynical, but I see Holly charging full speed ahead on this wedding because Blake is a far bigger and better "catch" than her past loves (Michael-breakdancer, would-be author, Jesse C- mediocre former snowboarder, moderately successful fameho, Justin Guarini- failed teen idol, etc). Blake is very good looking and will probably be a very financially successful dentist in the not so distant future, and he certainly does seem smitten with her (as she does with him) . I'm not at all surprised that she is looking to "close the deal" ASAP with this one, particularly after her past failed romances. Maybe they truly are "soul mates", and Blake's arrogance/mean streak (IMO) will be softened by Holly's light-hearted ditziness/shallowness (IMO). They are either perfect for each other or they will implode spectacularly, probably after their whirlwind nuptials take place.

Agreed. They are still in the so-called "honeymoon" phase, and, in my experience when that ends (and it sadly it almost always ends), the reality can be quite a disappointment.

I tend to agree with you here, Ironcat. Also rather heartwarming to know that the televised proposal was a serious one, and not just the typical Bachelor, lets-get-to-know-each-other-better. But then, the romance was largely outside of the Bachelor show bubble so the proposal should have been real.

I loved your blog post and the pics, Sophie. I posted a couple over on Ames' thread but you had a lot more.

It's true that the odds aren't really with Holly & Blake but I don't think they're any worse than with Ashley & JP or any other bachelor couple. I'm not even a romantic for the most part and I see true happiness in their pics. I wish they wouldn't rush things but I got married 6 mo after the proposal although the proposal wasn't quite as fast as theirs. I really like them and hope they make it. blowkiss

It's not that I wish any ill-will on them, but IMO, Holly appears to "love being in love"... then, when reality sets in and the real work begins (which it will in any relationship) and the fun stuff turns to everyday stuff, she isn't prepared or mature enough to handle and deal with it. Blake appears to be ready to rush into a marriage, so for them as a couple, the real stuff won't hit until after the wedding. Lets wish them a longer marriage than Kim Kardasian!!
