They just want people to tune in despite us knowing that these romances are fake.

First and up front, I am not watching - which doesn't seem to matter as I seem to be following fairly well by reading along with y'all, but it doesn't seem to me to be in very good form ( as the British put it) for Blake and Holly to openly push this in Michael's face, but when I read Blake's last blog, what it sounded to me like Blake was saying - and he is very well spoken - is that although it may be unfortunate that one person emotionally leaves another person and finds someone else, it does happen, and that is what is happening with Holly and Michael. He states that he, Blake, questioned Holly before he made a further move ( about her feelings toward the relationship with Michael), and he, Blake, was satisfied enough with the way that she answered for him to make his move!
Someone can go back and re-read Blake's blog with what I have said in mind and see if I misread that, but that is the perspective from someone who is not watching the show.
Blake took his cue from Holly that she was sufficiently over and done with Michael enough to encourage Blake. Blake realized this is unfortunate as to Michael's feelings, but if Holly is finished with Michael, then she is a free agent.
My opinion, howerer, remains that it is unkind to rub it publicly in Michael's face - even if it means a paid for ABC wedding, which might be what is the motive here.
When you encourage someone in the present, you help that person to become successful in the future.

It is totally in bad form for Blake - especially since the word is that Blake approached Michael, told him he was going to take Holly on the date if they would keep Michelle safe. In return, Blake wasn't supposed to put the moves on Holly. HE DID - and, of course, blamed it on Holly.
Blake is a snake.

I didn't read his blog but your account seems right from what I have observed. Holly and Michael remain a couple in the game aspect. Blake is voted out next week.
Holly and Michael entered the house as singles, their relationship ended 3 months prior. They had no contact in those 3 months. Michael decided he wanted her back upon entering the house. Holly did not want that. She gave Blake a green light and he went with that because he was attracted.
There is no rubbing anything in anyone's face. It happened. They are both single and had the freedom to do this. Definately hard for Michael but he had 3 months to approach her and did not do it. As she said, too little way too late.

Re: Blake & Holly - Discussion - Thread #1
I love Michael to death. When I saw him in Jillian's season, I told a friend who knows Holly that he would be perfect for her. I was so glad when they got together. Obviously they didn't work but were a catalyst for DeAnna to find her 'soul mate.'
I just plain don't like Blake but Holly is a grown woman who has to decide who is right for her. Michael has NO RIGHT to complain. He let her go and he has no voice as to what she does with anyone else because he suddenly changes his mind.
They knew that the other one was going on the show. There were FB posts from their parents wishing them luck before hand so they went in as a team despite the edit. Holly, Michael and DeAnna were at a gifting suite before the show started taping.
Holly is with Blake. From what people tell me of FB posts (because I don't follow them on FB) his friends and family are totally into them and her mom follows him as well.
Michael is selling songs on Itunes. So funny, Holly has 3 guys who are making money off of their drama with her. JesseC is hanging on to the vestiges of their 4-6 month relationship by bashing her in his blog/beatdown, Blake is getting money from the clicks to his blog.
She's got some BAD patterns she needs to break! LOL!

I don't see anyone as a bad guy. These are young people looking for love. I don't get the animosity toward any of them.
edited to add: I am speaking about Michael, Holly and Blake only.

Every person who goes on this show and Bach/ette are tools used by MF for entertainment. Each one has a bit of screw loose no matter how normal they appear to subject themselves on national tv to MF's exploitation. All our analysis based on 'reasonable' actions/reactions to situations can be thrown by the wayside. Nothing is 'normal/reasonable' with these cast members.

While they may be 'young people' in comparison to myself, these are not kids... they are full grown adults... how about a little maturity?

Well, I feel that way about all 3 of them! I just thank MY lucky stars that he's not the next Bachelor! :awesome:
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Although I think you might be watching the wrong show if you're looking for signs of maturity.... :!:

You beat me to it. :laughingoutlou
I can't get all worked up over what happened on this show which is a game and not real life. Holly is a free agent and Michael had no right to ask Blake to stay away from Holly. As a partner of hers he should be happy she has a chance for a rose and anything else is between Holly & Blake. Michael is getting a little too much sympathy when what he really needs to be doing is play the game and leave the rest until he's off camera. If it's too late so be it. He had 3 months to try to get her back and I find it interesting that he waited until he saw another guy was interested. :greenman:
