What I took from tonight's episode is that Ciarran is a big softie underneath that flamboyant exterior.  But, even though dear old dad didn't say it, (imo he implied it), he's not the one for Angie.

Angie admitted to Carlin she has never been in love before and she hoped it wouldn't be a problem to Carlin (not her exact words). IMO Angie seems like she very much wants to experience love. We know she ends up with Carlin and says she is very happy.
I agree with Angie's parents with what they said about Carlin. And Angie obviously holds their opinion of the men in high regard. (Except she is believed to choose Timm as her F2).

I like Ciaran but IMO he is too ‘wild’ for Angie.

btw do we think carlin’s rose next week is from 1-1 or group date?

I never thought Ciarran could have won but after tonight I think there might have been a possibility if he had of stayed.
But of course he walks out (we've been waiting for this, but why?) Well the latest internet goss is that his poor granny
(the one he has opened up to Angie about) has passed away and he leaves the show almost immediately.
I really feel for this dude also I like him, he's great TV.
There was talk he only entered the show as his ex was on last season of bachelor so IMO he wasn't ready to settle down and propably wasn't in a great mental headspace for this whole thing anyway but I truly wish him the best.

Jamie has to go tho. He's already passed his used by date but as the producers pet he might stick around for one more episode, we shall see.

I still want to believe Timm will win as Angie keeps specifically asking her family their opinion of him but perhaps her dads words against him will be enough to put her off. I think they have more chemistry then any of the other contestants but we all know the person with the most chemistry doesn't always win (poor Abbie)

So far Carlin has got the tick of approval from both brad and the parents, he also isn't getting a lot of air time (neither did Chelsea last season)

I feel this season is a lot more unpredictable however, less interesting.
It seems every kiss or romantic action so far has been really forced. I don't know if thats Angies awkwardness or what but It just doesn't seem genuine IMO
I don't know whats going on but I hope things get a bit more exciting soon.

Recent dumpee of the bachelorette, Adam Sellers was on the morning radio (I live on the Sunshine Coast where Adam, Angie and unfortunately Jess are from) The hosts of the morning show are Barrat and Heidi- for those who are unaware Heidi was on married at first sight (got married to Mike then left Mike) They had previously known Adam before he went on Bachelorette and Adam ended up asking out Heidi on radio. It was adorable. I will let you know more as it develops (or not)

@najpoziomka Renee Barret, she was an intruder on Matt Agnews season and got eliminated very quickly. It seems like he only entered to spite her and since leaving the mansion photos have surfaced of Renee and Ciarran in Bali with a few other bachelorette rejects. Their faces are blacked out but looks like Matt and Scot to me. Tara who is a reject from Matt Agnews season is also there and she is apparently hooking up with Scot.

Much better ep tonight but I don't know....
I hope Angie and Carlin have a date or something next week because it really isn't flowing for me this season, I don't see a connection. Regardless of my personal opinions of the guy....I hope to be pleasantly suprised by FRC and Angie gets her happy ever after but the more I see, the more I think that is unlikely.
I wonder how many leads and their F1s actually fall in love during the process? My guess would be very slim and having admitted to never being in love, I think the odds that Angie did are very close to nonexistent. So why choose Carlin? This guy is the most conventional Bachie and Angie said that she is not looking to settle down and have kids. I'm dumbfounded. My feeling right now is that he was the easy way out.

Right now my opinion still stands that she should choose Timm, he might drive her crazy eventually but atleast he will be a bit of fun for awhile  
(The same stands for Ciarrian but I'm assuming he walks)

Wow, things got a bit spicy here...but thanks y’all for the recaps. I am not surprised the dad picked Carlin as the one to settle with. Yep folks entitled to whatever opinions about him but what counts for me is what folks that know these contestants in RL say about them which is why I always scout SM for the goss on these peeps. I have seen posts from peeps that know Carlin RL and they say nothing but awesome things about him similar to what poster @leavers confirmed from someone that knows Carlin personally. Angie IMO picked Carlin because that’s who she wanted, straight up like all the the Bettes before her IMO, no one coerced or forced this on her IMO. Carlin being hidden is just typical F1 edit as well.

Ryan, no surprise the boys ratted on him. I think Angie is right that guys felt intimidated since they know they knew of each other before; still keen to see if he makes it to HTD because I ain’t seeing it from Angie to him.

I am gonna wait for the Ciarran exit episode to air but still convinced he was not that into Angie especially in light of the fact now that he is allegedly back with his ex per Daily Fail; and if Angie really wanted him, he would have rolled back into that mansion after he spent some time with his family over supposedly exiting due to his grandma’s passing. We do have an F1 that won the show in the US franchise, who left the show for a while come back and win it.

Timm, no surprise about the dad’s take on him; I have read similar perception on SM from some folks that have met Timm in RL so I can imagine how he came across to the dad who just met him for maybe a few hours IMO, yikes.
