@cyessence Thanks for posting that. As I said, I'm shocked he didn't know the phrase as he's fairly pop culture savvy compared to most and uses very urban lingo from living and hanging with people in large metropolitan areas. Welp, now he knows I expect his urban vocabulary to expand soon enough living in NYC with so many different cultures.

IMO it’s a wild assumption at best that just because they’ve been apart a couple of weeks due to work demands, the relationship is “on hold”. We have hundreds of thousands of servicemen and women deployed all over the world for months and months - are their romantic relationships, marriages, relationships with their kids “on hold” too? No.

Couples do not need to be cheap cheezing on I/G 24/. Real adults conduct very genuine and loving and lasting relationships without being attached at the armpits. Not just my opinion, adult fact.

IMO it is different when a relationship has been established. They are only in the beginning of their relationship and haven't even past the stage of being official boyfriend/girlfriend. We can speculate all we want, but we will have to wait and see. I think they are still in contact and will pick up were they left things, but who knows.

What am I missing ? Its been a long time that a contestant has got this much scrutiny post show on his/her every breath.

IMO it is different when a relationship has been established. They are only in the beginning of their relationship and haven't even past the stage of being official boyfriend/girlfriend. We can speculate all we want, but we will have to wait and see. I think they are still in contact and will pick up were they left things, but who knows.

Compared to a three date, one overnight, one afternoon meet the parents, one afternoon visit the home that precedes a BN engagement, I’m feeling the positive outlook fans have for this couple is more than justified.

As far as who knows? No one outside their circle of close family and friends is the answer for sure. Kudos to Tyler and Gigi for keeping it simple and avoiding the stupid, so far. All IMO

This whole situation is confusing because on one hand I understand keeping things private, but on the other, the paps were constantly called on them. Even with Dumbo House, if you actually look at the way the car left and got Tyler, it was obvious they wanted this to be seen. If it was actually meant to be kept on the DL it would’ve been. Additionally I agree with previous statements that there are some clearly pre-planned “pap walks.” I’m not in PR myself, but a family member is, relatively high up, has covered fashion show press, and has met lots of celebs and she explained to me yes celebrities will absolutely use people of a smaller name to still get theirs out there. It’s also atypical to go from all the pap shots to intentionally trying to keep things quiet this quickly, though not impossible. Additionally I don’t think any of this makes TC a bad person, idc if someone wants fame, he still seems like a nice guy!
I do think the timing of him suddenly doing all this BN press is odd as he didn’t do anything until it was guessed his relationship/fling was on the outs. It’s confusing because you have him vividly discussing HB all of a sudden, (no I’m not shipping them I’m stating my observations) and he said something odd last night on Andy Cohen’s show. When asked about celebs in his DMs he said “no one good.” Not sure what to make of that. On the podcast, he also mentioned just now being able to talk. I absolutely believe there was some sort of NDA involved. Suddenly doing all this Bachelor press and talking about GH but minimizing it versus saying nothing just seems suspect to me. All speculation. They really may have fizzled out and are now on good terms, they could continue to hook up, who knows?

On one hand you have Yolanda liking his apartment post, on the other, you have Gigi liking a certain singer’s post, his mom’s and his sister’s.
I’m curious how much is Hadid PR, how much is Lori K, what’s history, etc. I think it’s pretty naive to think none of this was PR at all, REGARDLESS of any attraction. This is not a criticism of either party involved, because again, I don’t care if someone wants their name out there.

Edit: Even if they were very casual to begin with, it’ll be interesting to see what the press is like about them, if any, when she returns. Also if he had an NDA he could’ve still scheduled the LZ interview in advance knowing when the dates were up. He can also change what’s he’s going to say/willing to answer as things with Gigi change. Also I disagree that it’s childish to assume that much would’ve changed in two weeks. Hollywood, outside of BN, also has crazy fast relationship changes. They very easily could have said we’re casual, let’s see what happens while we’re apart and the time apart was a reminder they have super different lives. Or maybe they’ll be back on when she gets back. Who knows? These are young people who clearly were not 100% exclusive. From experience, it evolves rapidly, even if you’re just communicating via phone.

I think we are quicker to put titles on relationships than they are (or I would be in real life).  His words last night were (if accurately transcribed) were still pretty ambiguous to me.  I think they are friends that may have benefits from time to time but its probably not end game for either.  Time will tell.  But he does seem to be able to speak more now than he could right away post show.  Even if we see them out that doesn't mean they are together or exclusive.  ALL IMO

ETA: Gigi's family/team definitely called the paps at least early and at the funeral so I don't think she wanted it completely private, just didn't want him to talk, IMO

I honestly believe all these entertainment show interviews have been scheduled some time. Like from what I can tell he did 4 separate interviews with E news (three of them on the same day). I haven't seen two of them. But two of their reporters have posted pictures with him saying they interviewed him. Also noticed he followed one of the bachelor producers near the end of his trip and he tends to follow people when he meets them.

Who knows what's happening with him and Gigi. I think they are at least still friendly considering that Yolanda also like the WWHL post and Gigi's bff/former assistant Cully like the new apartment one.

I just think people read in way to much about everything Tyler does. People see the signs they want. Like that DM question. I have only seen it as popular belief that Gigi slide into his dms and no one actually confirmed that happen. Heck the source interviews (which again I take with a grain of salt) said they have mutual friends. So that belief has some people raise an eyebrow to the way Tyler answered a question. Also the notion I seen him talking about Hannah means he misses her or is sending her a bat signal. I just don't think there is that much hidden meaning in what he is saying. All jmo.

Fully agree, if Yolanda and Cully are still interacting with his posts then him and Gigi are fine IMO - whatever status they are on currently. Also people trying to make the Hannah talk a big deal when what else would people ask about his Bach experience, also I’m pretty sure he’s still contractually doing interviews. All JMO

I understand being a fan and having strong opinions, however this is a GENERAL DISCUSSION thread for Tyler, members are allowed to discuss and speculate on whatever they want -within the rules- about Tyler. People are free to speculate on if the relationship or whatever was happening with Gigi has ended and why they think so. In return, others are free to disagree and state their own reasons for disagreeing. What’s not allowed is being snarky towards other members, calling their opinions “childish” and making statements about other members being “unequipped” to understand relationships outside of the show. Snark towards other members has been very prevalent in this thread, and because of that posts have been deleted. I’m reminding everyone once again to stay within the rules, which can be found HERE.

People just released an article referencing it ("may be single"), but I don't believe it contains a clip of him saying it.
