@Doggoneit Totally get what you’re saying, I meant in the sense of using a relationship for social clicks/ engagement and in turn getting paid for that. It’s obvious if he has a relationship with Gigi that will not be the case IMO. Of course TC can shill and make money other ways from social media clout but a relationship with a celeb won’t be one of those ways JMHO.

That's a point I personally like to bring up. I think bachelornation likes looking at them the same as a relationship that came from the show and I am not sure how people can do that in this case. Especially after reading into so much social media this past season that came up to almost zero (I am guilty of that as well).

Might just be me but I thought they been more private since the truck pap shots. After that we gotten very little of them from paps. We saw the one shot of him that was said to be at the hotel where the VMAs after party was held with 3 eyewitness reports.. Those pictures at her grandmother's funeral and them both attending the same fashion show separately. Nothing that much of them together. We only really have proof of 1 farm visit (even though I suspect 3 at least). And that is only because Matt put up a story of him running at the farm after the truck pap shots.

Its not that strange to me that he doesn't say he is in love after a month of dating. People forget that the franchise is not common dating. It is dating on steroids' and you don't get the everyday distractions that normal life brings. I don't think these interviews give an answer one way or another imo. Again repeating myself but I don't think we will really know anything until October and see what happens there. All jmho.

Completely agree. I think the sightings and gossip fodder has drastically turned down since the Netherlands funeral. I mean you had TMZ writing article headlines like “welcome to the Hadid family Tyler”. I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to dial back a bit and be really secretive IMO. When you don’t have photo evidence it’s difficult to speak categorically but we’ve seen patterns with these two already and guarantee it will continue when she’s back in the US (all IMO)

Yeah the Gigi used Tyler for Fashion Week makes like less than zero sense to me. It's fine if people want to believe what they had is over or they're just friends now or whatever. But this notion that Gigi needed some Bachelorette contestant for press and for Fashion Week no less, when girl is one of the top models in the world, is nonsensical to me.

eta: I want to also add that I do think it's obvious that Tyler is still navigating this world of celebrity and doing interviews about a relationship with a famous star. And by that I mean where celebrities don't give much about their personal life unless they're in a serious relationship that is publicly acknowledged. Many have said it but the reality is it is different answering these types of questions for someone dating a bonafide celebrity who is NOT part of Bachelor World.

That is, figuring out how to navigate around the wanting to be private but still give an answer to the questions. I do think as others noted it's interesting that the Extra interview seemed to avoid the Gigi topic. And fyi, Zayn and Gigi did play the "just friends" line early in their relationship. Let us also not forget that Tyler himself said he and Gigi simply followed each other on Instagram and nothing more, when he did Ben and Ashley's podcast and I think we all now know that was not the truth.

None of us knows for certain what exactly is going on here. That said, what I will say from what I've observed about Gigi is that contrary to what some seem to believe of her, she's always been a relationship person. She was with Cody Simpson for a little over two years when she was only 16, she and Joe Jonas were together for about six months and that ended because yes, she left him for Zayn. And of course she and Zayn lasted over two years, despite all the rumors of his cheating on her.

There's nothing wrong with a casual fling/relationship when all parties are on the same page. And I could have seen Tyler and Gigi as such. However I just cannot imagine this woman who has always been a relationship person, inviting a guy that much into her life in such a short time, for what was a fling. And definitely not bringing him all the way to The Netherlands for a family funeral. It doesn't gel, IMO. And I am one of those who do believe he was with her before she left for Europe.

So yes, people will believe what they want and we shall see. If they're just friends, that's great too, nothing wrong with having friends. But I  think it's more and Tyler just experienced his first taste of awkwardly addressing a celebrity relationship while trying to remain private about said relationship.

Finally had a chance to watch his interviews. In terms of his relationship with Gigi - I didn't get much from his interviews. He's not confirming or denying anything; seems to want to take it day by day and manage expectations. Doesn't confirm any status of them being together or not. I don't think we'll know anything until Gigi comes back to the US anyway.

Anyway, I am interested to know about his meetings in LA and what he has in the works. I think we'll see more of Tyler on tv. I could see him on a show that maybe focuses on his charity, food, working out, or sports related. If he does go back on reality tv I think it's going to be something competition based with a focus to bring awareness to abcfoodtours and the underserved communities.

I wonder what campaign he booked for the new year. That's probably exciting news for him as he's pretty new to the industry.

I also like that he still has goals of following through with setting up a construction/contracting business.

He seems open to anything and I am glad to hear he's not putting all his eggs in one basket, which is a mistake, imo.

That interview with Lauren Zima just made me cringe. She just kept putting him on the spot about Gigi. As Andi would say, Staaaahhhhp!

I agree with everyone who says that we are not going to get a high visibility relationship out of Ty and Gigi. That's fair enough. Happiness loves privacy.

Dee - i raised an eyebrow when he said that it was 'a really big campaign'. Not just big but really big. It sounds major.

She might have missed the possibility that Tyler does not want to divulge his personal business.

I don't expect him to be interviewed and reveal everything that's going on in his dating life.
