bachefan wrote:I agree. I noticed this change Disney week.  She said that Alan stayed and rode rides with her even though he was tired after having been there all night rehearsing with the other pros. The interviews afterwards talked about him supporting her and caring for her as a person and not just a student.  They were very comfortable together and she laid her head on  his shoulder during the interview.

Also, she admitted that she didn't want to disappoint him and that they both wanted to be there for each other.  The fact that she said she and Alan cried together is very telling and deep....(imo).
Wow I didn’t know the BTS of Alan staying behind or them crying together but Disney week is when I noticed a different energy between them! It felt like she was keeping him at arms length before that and there was an emotional distance. Then I noticed them being more touchy feely in their SM posts and that cheek stroke at the end of their dance that showed she felt a lot more comfortable with him. Idk if they’ll actually date or not but this partnership is doing exactly what I wanted for Hannah. DWTS can be really therapeutic for people who are going through things or are struggling with their confidence, and imo it’s allowing Hannah to work through everything that she’s been through this past year and she has a partner like Alan who’s giving her a safe space to do it. Plus I love the southern girls crew friendship she has with Ally & Lauren. All jmo.

@ReneeM since you are the only moderator I see online now, I just tried to check the forum rules and it’s not clear to me. Are all opinions allowed including the ones deemed to be sl*t shaming? TIA

I’ve been reviewing and the post in question doesn’t break the rules. The point of the rules is a guideline to ensure that discussions remain respectful. We’re all free to disagree but baiting and snarking at other members IS against the rules. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinions, including those we disagree with. Let’s get the thread back on topic, which is Hannah, NOT other members.

I also thought it was telling in the interviews right after the Disney episode when she was asked about Tyler and Peter, Alan looked sad as she was talking. You can literally see his face and expressions change. Hannah was being her typical polite self in her answers about them. When she was asked about Tyler, Peter, and Luke this past week, Hannah was definitive about her not getting back together with Tyler and how the “past is in the past” and she’s moved on. It was a major change and it was interesting to see that it came directly after she and Alan have visibly gotten closer.

As I mentioned in another post, the DWTS sleuthers catch every little thing. We saw her leaning her head on his shoulder in one interview this week, but in the interview with Sharna we can see that they each have an arm wrapped around the other. Hannah’s other arm is behind her back. I didn’t think anything of it, but a fan caught Hannah and Alan in the back of one of Lindsay’s interviews and you can see Hannah’s free hand is behind her back and holding and stroking Alan’s arm. So basically she needed to have both hands on him laugh out loud They were also caught holding hands more than once during the episode last week and they were trying to do it discreetly behind other people.

Like @ReneeM said, whatever this turns into, I’m just glad Hannah is having this experience. The last two-three weeks are the happiest I’ve seen her in a long time. I think she’s still of course stressed with handling this new found “fame” and balancing everything, but she seems sincerely happy. Alan seems to be a big part of that too.

Thanks I guess folks that are passionately against sl*t shaming should just use the foe button IMO since it got pretty testy here earlier, that way the mods don’t have to do a clean up yes

She went with the windmill and no mention of Jed or peter (she didn’t name names) so I do think she was thinking and made a decision on what to share and what not to in that moment. JMO

No, the audience didn’t know Hannah was single but Hannah knew she was which is why she had no problem making the four times comment whether it was truth or fiction. JMO

@Summerfun1980
IMO the point is Hannah should not have made any reference to sex in the windmill, at all. It was private intimacy between two consenting adults and no one else’s business. Least of all, on national tv and to another suitor. If a male contestant or lead said that about one of the women, there’d be universal criticism. Women are not above criticism when they say something stupid in the heat of the moment or for a laugh or to promote someone else. Hannah is not above criticism. What she said was tacky and indiscreet. All IMO.

Ofcourse people are more than welcome to discuss anything about Hannah. However the topic on hand that veered into what some of us us deem as sl*t shaming was not Hannah’s bachelorette season but DWTS but ok if folks want to continue to be interested in Hannah’s sex life and discuss it, to each their own...all jmho.

I personally have no interest in her sex life, but previously Hannah herself made her own sex life public knowledge. There's no shame in it, any of it, Hannah's sex life, or discussing it, but imho these "each to their own" comments feel a bit shaming re other posters.

As for Hannah on DWTS, I'm really glad she's opening up emotionally, but imho for her sakes I hope it's just a bonding experience with Alan, and nothing romantic. Imho, and I base this on not any knowledge, really, her getting involved romantically with Alan would be a disaster. It would also make Alan look like serial partner dater. Jmho.

Re the bold, to clarify I sometimes add that to my post to note that others are entitled their opinions. Many folks on the forum have used that term since I have joined so I respect your opinion that you view differently, I just disagree. No shaming from my end,  I don’t subscribe to shaming others for what they believe in...thanks.
