Is there any evidence to support the "source" claim? We heard early rumblings that there were sources in both Peter and Jed's camp but nothing from Tyler's friends and family. Not even with the erroneous F1 spoiler. So if Matt is a source -- he wasn't squealing early on. And what, theoretically, has Matt spoiled now? Tyler's date with Gigi? Gigi followed him on insta for all the world to see -- that two incredibly hot, single people would go for drinks isn't that much of a leap, even if he did let that slip to someone.

Matt's insta stories showcase his views but that still isn't leaking/spoiling anything. More like adding his color commentary to his friend's dating activities. IMO

I love all the crazy and chaos -- the more, the better -- but until other information comes forth, I find this one hard to believe.

I think the general idea is that he is the source that (inaccurately) told RS and the IG account that there was no chance for a Tannah reconciliation.
That could either come from Tyler’s or Hannah’s camp or from TPTB. Since both families have been cheering them on since June, and CH was shipping them like a teenage girl, we are left with a friend who either was in the dark or just didn’t WANT them together.
Enter Matt.

Add in that the girl who runs the IG account was reposting Matt’s stories last night? Yeah, it’s not a crazy thought to think he could be the source. She got close to a couple of Peter’s friends as well. I could see her reaching out to Matt. 

Either way it’s all just sad and messy. Tyler’s mom unfollowed Matt and Matt unfollowed Ryan. Matt just made a tricky situation worse for Tyler IMO.

is it possible Matt was never following Tyler’s brothers? He’s not following Austin and I doubt he is involved in this drama. Mama C also may have never followed Matt.

I tend to agree about this.

Looking at the timeline, Tyler did not go to stay with Matt until a couple of weeks after returning from filming so he wouldn't have known anything about anything in the beginning.
Matt sure went along with some of the hype though in the beginning stages... IG stories of the dinners with BN fans. Hyping the name "hannah b" of the one winner. If I remember right, those were in the days of Tyler being the F1. Sure didn't seem to not like the idea then.
Things seemed to cool off about the time Tyler cooled off on SM with the spoiler change.

Then I think back to the fact that Tyler spent the last week before ATFR with his family and FL friends... no where near Matt. If things were heating up with Hannah, Matt would have no way of knowing. He wasn't seeing him every day. And, Tyler may not have shared a whole lot if they were talking from the time of her breakup. This could have led Matt to the feeling that they would never get together. Thus Matt being blindsided during the ATFR.

The model date was leaked earlier in the week. Last night, RS got the info before Tyler was even there and there is photo proof that he was with Matt. Easy enough for Matt to have sent the info to RS to get it out in the twittersphere before it actually happened. Matt hung around long enough that a photo was found of him with Tyler at this same place. But he miraculously disappears and Gigi shows up.

Just too many coincidental things IMO for it to possibly be him as the source... at least for this model "date".

When I was young there was a  game we would play. We would stand  in a circle and start a rumor and see how it would end with the last person. Guess what? It never ended without being twisted from its original  form.  IMO Tyler can see.date and chose  to be with whoever he wants to. Hannah made choices- so can Tyler. The only commitmet  I have heard him make was of friendship.

Matt was following Ryan he tagged him in a story this past week. Also he just refollowed Ryan on IG.

Enews article says they ended the night at Gigi’s apartment. Doesn’t mean he slept there, could’ve just escorted her home. But definitely says it was a date, if true. IMO.

Just a slight error in location, we sleuthed here that it was Soho House in Manhattan, even Tyler has a pic with a fan on his way there, and not Dumbo House in Brooklyn....i think they didn’t vet that part of the story from RS IMO.
