Might explain why he is so happy. To be chosen for the next lead is huge. He is already popular and this will skyrocket him to superstar status...until he chooses the wrong girl on his season. . Jmo. I wondered why the Bachelorette Twitter page is hyping him so much, and this might be the reason why. Methinks ABC had their eye on Tyler on night one. All imo.

I don't think anyone knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are Bachelor right now. They make those decisions later -- sometimes at the very last minute. Look at Arie -- he didn't know that he would be the Bachelor until the last second. Besides, they are bound by a confidentiality clause as well.

I’m not so sure he will be the next bachelor. Imo they have been pushing mike, jpj, peter and even mentioned someone else from BIP. Imo, I still believe Tyler might be doing DWTS. I think the Peta follow is weird and I remember Tyler asking “what is sequns?” Awhile back on instagram. It was right around the time Hannah put up the story of her and her brother with their high school dancing tape for DWTS. Jmho but something is up. ;)

I hope he is the next Bachelor, more Tyler on my screen come 2020. A guy I'm actually attracted to being Bach? Sign me up!

@Mommyof2 I’m sure the shot at next lead could make him happy! However, with the way CH talked about him pre-season and how little SM attention he got from the bachelorette pages until fans went crazy, I don’t think they had their eye on him night one. I think Peter in their minds was the big contender, and Mike was a possibility. Tyler wasn’t even mentioned as someone to keep an eye on pre-season. I really think his popularity caught them by surprise, which is crazy because they know a big chunk of their audience now is 18-34 females who can see the guy.

Tyler is a troll and I could see him joking and saying yes I'm the Bachelor! He apparently allegedly also told someone in New York that the sex with Hannah was great, when asked about the fantasy suite (this is before we knew they didn't have sex). Or most likely he said nothing at all. I can't reconcile Tyler being the bachelor with his friends John Paul Jones and Dylan promoting Mike for Bachelor.

I actually have my doubts about that. Obviously he's crazy handsome but he's not really a very dynamic personality. His limo exit was pretty forgettable and he didn't even talk to Hannah on night one, so it's not like he made a huge impact on anyone. He was just kind of there until his first one-on-one and that's when people started going wild for him. I feel like he's so low-key that I'm honestly not even sure about his ability to carry a season -- but then again I guess all he has to do is show up and the women and production will do all the heavy lifting.

I just think he could be the most popular Bachelor in the entire history of the franchise. The ratings would be crazy high. Everyone loves Tyler! It's evident with his 1.1 million followers and he isn't even the lead.

I just posted the comment because I thought it was odd she said her Mom was in the islands and we know Tyler is in the Keys today. Take it or leave it.

ITA to all of this. He was getting the opposite of a Bach edit for quite a bit of the season and was being ignored in the promotion until the audience started going crazy.

i have been impressed by hannah, jed and tyler's ability to keep their mouths shut about the ending. normally at this point we have some bn person accidentally spilling who the f1 is because the lead has blabbed it to everyone. kudos kids. all jmo.

I totallyyyyyy agree with this.  He is a troll!! Lol. Read that rumor on Reddit also. Imho, Dylan knows he doesn’t want the bachelor. He doesn’t need it for sure. All just speculation but I really think something is up with him.

All of this is meant in a very good way. I love Tyler and Hannah too.
