Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - Media - SM - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #8

I don’t think Lauren’s article is odd. Those are the only realistic options. It sure as heck isn’t Luke and given all of the drama surrounding Jed, even if he wasn’t originally the F1 the show wouldn’t consider him an actual option to be the bachelor IMO. 

The finale is just different this year since she took four men to the fantasy suite dates. Since Peter is technically still there even though he’ll be eliminated within the first few minutes of the finale episode, they can’t show any real footage from that episode as it will give away who the F2 are. According to fans who attended the MTA, we’ll get a finale preview that shows Hannah in her FRC dress and she’s an emotional mess.

I've said it before... the fact that we haven't seen anything of the guys arriving at the FRC (even if just their legs) says a lot. Just confirms my suspicions that Jed was slated for F2, not F1 and that the excellent sleuthers would figure that out. History is on their side! I could be wrong but things like this just don't sit right with me. Also, there was a view of the FRC setup in the preview video but no Hannah with it.

As for Lauren's post, I don't put as much into that. With all the post filming bombs about Jed, there is no way he would be considered for the next lead if he wasn't F1. Mike, Peter and Tyler are the most well liked contestants this season. MF wants his show to fail... have Jed as a lead. With any of those 3, they will have decent ratings. Granted a lot of us were not fond of Colton (I wasn't and I didn't watch) but he did have a very large fan base that did want him. MF also took advantage of the virgin angle with him. He salivated about that I'm sure. Jed does not have that going for him.

I saw a man who was bullied by the guys because Hannah liked him a lot and because he did not respect the bro code as his purpose was Hannah. I saw a man alone and used by the prods (Garett ridiculous ham per se). I saw a man who got all the green lights from Hannah that she loved him by kissing him like she was making love. I saw an insecure man who saw the ideal girl he created and was in love in a show he should never have stepped in. I saw a man pushed to his limits and all his buttons with.

I saw an entitled narcissist who was fine at the start of the season when all of Hannah's attention was focused on him. And then the moment it wasn't, the negative and toxic side of him came out. I saw someone who was a liar and manipulator. I saw someone who was violent and a bully and lied about it.

I saw someone who exposed all his worse qualities under the pressure of reality television and use his faith and religion to defend his actions and as a weapon to judge others. I saw someone take little to no accountability for his actions and I see some still doing the same for him by blaming everyone from the guys, production, Hannah, etc. for a grown man's actions. Rather than put the onus on said grown man.

We know nothing but what we saw of Luke at hometown. Did he look unloved? Unappreciated? Nope. Because he was in his element.

Yes, he thrived in his environment surrounded by those who shared the same ideology and beliefs as him. People like Luke usually do because in his environment, he's not challenged and forced to consider others' viewpoints, ideals, personalities, etc.

The measure of someone isn't that they thrive when surrounded by those who think and live similar to them, it's that they do when surrounded and confronted by opposing ideas and personalities. And Luke, failed big time at that. Of course he thrives surrounded by those who are much like him. Most narcissists do.

Yeah, the old reliable "sunlight and shadows" would tell the story pretty quickly. I had been going back and forth on whether Mills would reveal a spoiler like that so early on or whether it was his usual BS, but it would explain a lot. Good grief, if it really goes down like that Hannah will receive a SM mocking the likes of which we've never seen. Changing your mind at the very last second to the guy who ended up having a girlfriend at home? Yikes. I hope Mills was comfortable throwing that out there because there was something even crazier afterward.

@msjr I also hope for her sake she didn’t.  The mocking will be insane. Can you imagine if she changes her mind after Jed steps out with a guitar and does something cheesy like singing her a proposal song? I can picture it, unfortunately. She loves what she perceives to be grand acts.

But I do believe lack of frc promo is more because there are three men left and they’ve been editing this whole season as if F3 actually has a shot.

I guess that means we're not going to get a really good sneak peek at the end of tonight's show if they're still trying to sell us on Peter being a factor in the finale. Bummer.

The SM dragging would be baaad. I am still hoping for some sort of save. Too many things just don't fit right now.

There were three men left for Rachel's finale episode, and they gave us shots of her in her FRC dress at the FRC site by episode 6 or so. They had also already started showing a promo of a man's foot stepping out of the limo by this time. I really think Hannah's FRC was a debacle. It's just a matter of figuring out how.

@msjr  ok but who in the world thought Eric had a shot? That was a competition between Bryan and Peter from the start and they were trying to sell us on Peter. Eric had no shot at Rachel or bachelor.  He was an afterthought.  JMO.  Peter’s elimination is supposed to be shocking.  People were shocked Eric even made F3.

I can also buy she accepted F2’s proposal first but I hope she didn’t for her sake if Jed was supposed to be F2.

But I also kind of think that shot of her crying on the yacht is her sending Tyler away.  Why else would she be crying?
