Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - Media - SM - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #7

Yeah.  I think during the show, Jed was F1, as proven by her picking him.    I think very few people are disputing that.  She "fell in love" hook, line, and sinker for the allusion Jed created for her.  Allusion.  She "fell in love" with something that doesn't exist.  Ok, moving on.

Jed.  I think Jed is a player type who probably loves the chase, the adrenaline, the female attention.  Put a guy like that in this kind of situation, with Hannah clearly super into him, and it was probably like crack and he couldn't get enough.  Maybe he convinced himself he was "in love" in the bubble - idk, I don't care.  If it was real love, he wouldn't have continued to lie to her, and he wouldn't have allowed her to get engaged to him without being forthcoming about all the $hit going on in his real life and day to day.  I also think his premature ILY is indicative of someone who throws that around a lot.  Like a lot.  

So yeah, I think most people agree with you @mommyof2 that Jed was who she wanted during filming.  And that he probably got super in the bubble and thought he wanted her too.  Neat.  Real life collided FAST with them though, and it crashed and burned. And its over and no longer relevant to the real life possibilities we have now. If it weren't for Jed's pile of baloney, her entire season would have been different.  He wouldn't have been a possibility for her, she would have focused more on other people.

This show creates an environment where the lead often has strong connections with other people - and in this case, she also developed a strong connection with Tyler. Its also quite jarring to see just how authentic Tyler was, as compared to the allusion the F1 presented.  So this is why you have the guys and Bachelor nation in general hemming and hawing in interviews.  Because yeah, during filming her connection to a total lie was strong.  But who she should be with IRL?  If its anyone from this show - its definitely Tyler.

So many on the board seem to think Jed was just going through the motions and didn't really fall for Hannah.  I respectfully disagree.  I think he did fall in love with her and vice versa and now hearing Connor talk about how they were connected early on gives me confirmation that it is indeed true.  I am just strictly speaking of what is happening on our TV screen, not what is happening in real life.  Jed was her true F1.  Not Luke.  Not Peter.  Not Tyler.  Jmo.

Jed can still be her "true F1" AND not be in love with her. The two options are NOT mutually exclusive.

Jed's body language has not - to date on tv - shown that he is in love with Hannah. His body has been betraying him when he lies or deflects or distracts. It is very obvious IMO. Hannah's body language, on the other hand, is showing that she's all in with him. That's the difference.

Hannah's exuberance and radiance in Jed's presence is NOT a sign of his love, it is only a sign of hers.

I've said it before, imo, I think Jed just has a low-key energy about him.  Even in his IG stories, I get the same feeling.  People who are low-key are harder to read. They don't wear their emotions on their sleeve and it takes some time for them to open up emotionally.  I know this quite well as my DH is one of those people.  

He could be low-key, high-key or off-key (which he is most of the time) -- the energy level doesn't matter when your body disagrees with the things coming out of your mouth. These are micro-expressions, reflexes, that people can't control. He physically disagrees with himself when he says he and Hannah clicked from the start, he physically disagrees with himself when he says this was the best day ever. I could site other examples -- I might go find more and grab them if I have time. Jed's mouth is telling one story but his body is telling another.

Jed can be the low-key, low-energy, true F1 and still not be in love with Hannah. And Hannah can love a low-key, low-energy Jed who does not reciprocate her feelings.

Also, I'm still not ruling out that Jed EVENTUALLY develops visible feelings for Hannah -- it just hasn't happened on screen yet. Next week's episode will be interesting to watch.

I think the fact that he flew off the handle watching Luke get the rose before him showed that he did care and it continues next week with him confronting Hannah about it again. Someone who is just going through the motions doesn't react in a jealous manner as Jed did. Jealously is never attractive, but it definitely displays how someone feels. Jmo

I will never believe for one second that Jed fell in love with Hannah. He looks like he’s going to throw up every time she talks about her feelings for him. IMO, like most cheaters, he started off small - only making it to F5 - and then got bolder about what he could get away with. Why self eliminate at F5 and risk looking like the bad guy when you can confess your ‘love’ and either be the ‘brokenhearted’ F2/F3 and possible next Bachelor, or you can ‘win’ and ride the publicity of being a Bachelor couple, having your much more famous fiancée to draw crowds at your shows and whom you can show off as your muse? Everything Jed did was in service of his career and Hannah was collateral and any guilt or shame he exhibits is only because he got exposed. All JMO.

I think jed wanted to win once it was a possibility and he really really wanted to beat luke. No way he ever cared for Hannah in any real way imo. He returned home and started doing what he did best: grabbing butts that weren't Hannah’s and singing like my dying blender

I think we all have been jealous at one time or another. It's a human emotion. Some just struggle with it more than others, imho.

Could be jealousy. Could be anger. Could be disgust. Jed strongly dislikes Luke and he could've deemed it an "insult" to be picked after Luke. As if somehow, Jed was "less than" Luke. Competition drives a great many feelings.

Personally, I didn't get jealousy from that scene but I'd want to go back and look at his ITM again to see what is coming out of his mouth, and what his body is saying.

Anyway, Nick just posted a similar photo to Juliet. Looks like the 3 of them had lunch in NYC. Nick was with Tyler last night as well.

Which is why he had he ITM at the last RC. She called Luke's name before his. Even though he knew they were both getting a rose, he just couldn't accept that she would call Luke's name before his.

My point is that his jealousy is not necessarily indicative of Jed caring. It could also be a matter of his insecurity and controlling nature . Adding to it, competitiveness . That is my opinion .

Can you all help me. This tweet of Hannah just popped up an hour ago. I believe it is old because her hair seems different. Just want to see if anyone can confirm it. I have no real clue who the guy that tweeted it or his brother is except they seem to wrestled in college. I know nothing just want to see if anyone else can get info.
