Also, Luke never got a second one on one like most F1s do.

Even after so much drama Luke created he went all the way to FSD. She wanted him so bad. In the last episode, she said that she hopes her mind cooperates with her heart. She's in love with the dude except that her mind was really evaluating all the drama. Without that last talk on sex, it's my opinion that Luke could have been F1 and Jed would have been like Nick, the guy you have sex with but you choose a different F1 (like Kaitlyn and Andi).

So that makes Tyler a sloppy third.

I feel pretty sure now that this is Tylers way of talking to us. He cant say anything but he knows that we are following his spotify imo. Thats probably why he made his apple private and now he us using this as a way of communicating. Maybe Im wrong but at the moment it feels right

I remember a australian bachelor season where the bachelor dumped his F1 after a while because he couldnt stop thinking about his F3 and they became a couple. Imo coming out of the bubble and taking those blinders of can open your eyes to what you really need that you didnt see during the show. That then doesnt mean those feelings are less strong or a second/third choise imo. We dont know if her feelings for Tyler will grow later on during the show. Maybe we will be surprised.

Nope, I don’t believe Luke was Hannah’s F1 after the first few episodes. He was the producers’ favorite though, first for a 2 on 1, then for a blowout after the silly naked (but not really) bungie jump. That one was clearly tailored to provoke Luke IMO.
When they managed to make her keep him after that they went for the ultimate goal, fantasy dates. I can only imagine how much they poked Luke when the other dates were happening.

Hannah was caught in the crossfire between Luke’s gaslighting and the producers’ brainwashing. An older woman would probably have been able to follow her guts and kick him out earlier, but I don’t believe for a second that Hannah could see herself marry Luke.

When did she even kiss Luke the last time? I didnt watch the scenes with him the last episode so maybe they kissed then? I think by episode 7 Jed was her F1.

But I don’t understand. You loved Arie and Lauren. Loved them. Lauren wasn’t Arie’s First choice. I know, I know Arie came to a change of heart on his own, blah, blah. But the bottom line is, Arie, like Hannah, made difficult decisions without all of the information or time to give him clarity. He, like Hannah, made a mistake. This show is messy. It’s possible to have feelings (strong feelings) for more than one person. Hannah made a choice, found out the show version of the person she chose didn’t match at all with the real world version. Meanwhile, she’s watching from afar her second place guy being literally everything he presented himself as, and more. Arie got a second chance, and good thing because now he has a family from his mess. I’m not sure why Hannah is judged so much more harshly. JMO.

If we think about it from an IRL perspective, it could happen that we have a guy in our social circle or radar that isn't our "first choice" when there are other options.  Sometimes, it takes dating the loser who we treated as  "first choice", to realize that third choice guy is who were looking for the whole time.

Isn't that what happens in rom coms, too (think When Harry Met Sally).  Harry was not Sally's first choice, she needed to experience the man who looked perfect on paper, first.

This does not mean that third choice guy, in this case Tyler C., won't become Hannah's #1. It doesn't mean she respects him less because she went for Luke and Jed first. They are called exes for a reason.

Yep. I've got a high school friend that was adamant that this guy was "just a friend". She wanted to date someone else, even fantasizing about marrying the guy. I knew this guy from college and felt it would never happen but let her have her dream. Friend guy stayed the friend. They hung out with others from their training class. One weekend he went visit her in Chicago so they could make plans for a group trip to Hawaii that followed a seminar they and several others were going to. She had a medical issue that weekend and he took care of her. Her whole world was turned upside down and she realized what a gem she had kept at an arm's length for several years. I spent the weekend with her in January. This weekend was in March. By summer she knew he was the one she would marry and they got married 18 months later and have been married 27 years.

Every person's experiences in love are different. If Hannah and Tyler are meant to be, they are meant to be. If they aren't, they aren't.

I just hope that if they do decide to move forward, they do what Jason and Molly did. Dating with no engagement. Let the engagement happen when it feels right. Jason and Molly did know within months they wanted to be together and were married about a year after the ATFR where she agreed to date him.

They kissed and she even straddled his lap after he told her about his faith story. Gaslighting and manipulation but she ate it from the palm of his hands. He was her FIR that she wanted to be the F1. I don’t think TPTB forced her to keep him. She couldn’t let him go until the sex talk.

Love is a strong word, @sosleepy.  I wouldn't go that far to say I love them.  I don't even know them. I don't even follow them closely anymore.  As for Arie and Lauren, I saw how much he liked Lauren during the show.  I never saw it with Becca, so it made me scratch my head like what is going on here.  When Arie pulled the switcheroo, it made sense to me.  He couldn't let Lauren go.  Same with Hannah and Jed.  Saw it from day one even though the spoiler said Tyler was her F1.  I knew something was off.  She felt horrible when Jed caught her and Luke together and went out of her way to make it right with him.  There were other times I could see their connection too.  I think she was all about Jed by this time and he was going to be her F1 no matter what.  I didn't see the same spark with Tyler.  I wish they would have kept the piano scene in the edit, but they decided to cut it.    As I said, Tyler and Hannah will need to decide if they want to have another go of it.  I think Hannah should take a breather as she has been through a lot.  I don't think Jed is scum either.  Yes, he has made some bad decisions, but I think he fell in love with Hannah, but then things got complicated...very complicated.  All imo.
