This. I totally agree. How many times have we seen leads go for their usual type...someone who reminded them of home? Dang Becca even spelled it out last Bette season. I think the only one who went against type...and I'm not even totally sure about that because Sean's type was a lot more diverse than he was given credit for....was Sean when he picked Catherine over Lindsay and AshLee. Leads generally go for their type and on paper Luke and Jed were totally Hannah's type. Tyler was always going to have it harder and the fact that he is so chill and such a good talker, made him appear more like her idea of a player.

The timeline is interesting. I agree with others who said that she is unaware of Haley’s existence here. No way IMO she would use “standup guy” about Jed if she had any suspicions about him. She also looks quite happy.
That was May 14. Four days after the proposal and the morning after Patrick started to follow Haley.

The press round with GMA, Kelly and others was two days later I think. In those interviews she started to look less happy (or even "single" according to Kelly). I am guessing that in those two days Patrick and his Nashville GF had time to ask around and get some disturbing answers. I believe at that point Hannah was shook but not yet convinced that it was true.
