It is very beautiful and a luxury place ! BUT, staying there for 2 months and not even be close to the Pacific Ocean... I mean it’s a freaking desert!!!
Sorry but it’s not exciting me at all and I think after a week, everyone will have ants in their feet!

In other countries Bachelor or Bachelorette is mostly filmed in the same location. It creates a different interaction between the contestants. Most of the time there are also activities for the ones that don't go on a date. It didn't bother me at all watching these seasons.

@Dutchy23 I am interested in knowing what version you’re talking about that are filmed in a one spot location... I’ve seen pretty much all the International Bach that I could, from Canada, Britain, Russia, Ukraine, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and they ALL had travel included in their format.
Are you referring to non English speaking versions?

@Astrobach I know that the Aussie and NZ versions pretty much stay in one spot...except at the very end. Obviously I am not familiar with those places but the posters from that area are familiar with the places and have bemoaned the lack of travel because the channels which air the shows are struggling for cash.

It looks like a beautiful place but you can't go wrong with a Ritz Carlton. I've only stayed at one (in Dana Point) and luckily it was paid for. I've never been to this area but imagine there are things to do around it for dates.

The hotel is lovely! I hope they give Claire one of the suites with a kitchen... cooking date and a terrific, cozy balcony With fireplace. At least the guys might get their own rooms, at least after a couple of eliminations, if they have taken the whole hotel.

@Sprite Yep our last Bette AU didn't leave NSW (where the mansion is).  Even the HTDs were all in NSW, and the FRC in Byron Bay was one of the prettiest locations we've had IMO.  

I don't think this show needs O/S travel to work - sometimes they seem to try too hard to showcase the locations (probably to fulfill their side of sponsorship deals) making the dates feel like segments from a travel show.

Without such distractions/obligations they have the opportunity to put more emphasis on the inter-personal connections.  Hopefully they do that and not just ramp up the "drama".

Heck, I think any one of us would be glad for a change of scenery after being quarantined!

The last 3 versions you mentioned had only 1 traveling moment and our Dutch Bachelorette, which is airing at the moment is filmed in 1 location in South Africa.

This was posted July 30th. Tayshia is now following one more person. Not sure what this means, other than she was able to use her phone or an electronic device. I don't recall the exact date she left but just putting it here in case we need to compare later when she is done filming.
