Today is for recognizing the strong woman who raised my amazing sister and me. Though really everyday should be dedicated to women like her. She has shown me what true strength means, and that it’s okay to beat to my own drum. She always gives more than she receives and has taught me that patience, understanding, kindness and love are the pillars to live on. She also made sure I knew how to dust plants properly and to put things back better than when I found them...those are still works in progress. She gave me my wings to let me fly, though she will always be my true home. .

And here is for my (future) mother-in-law, who instilled all of the same, and more, great things to her amazing children. I’m so beyond lucky to have this woman in my life and can never thank her enough for raising one helluva son'
