We love your new apartment – what made you choose this one?
The apartment has the style and color scheme we were leaning toward. Plus, the fun accents, like the Spanish tiling and balcony arches, had us hooked.
Tell us more about the outdoor patio. How are you using the space?
The patio is our happy place. It has a Mediterranean feel to it, and it's the best place to relax with a good book and coffee (or glass of wine, depending on the day). We use the bar cart a lot when entertaining. It stores so many pitchers and bottles, so it's a fun grab-and-go setup for guests.
The living area is so bright and airy. What do you love most about this space?
We love the open concept — while we cook in the kitchen, we can still hang out and chat. It feels open and the whole space gets a ton of natural light. And the trees and plants add natural pops of color.
Speaking of cooking, do you have a favorite kitchen item — anything you use daily?
Our gold flatware. We use it for every meal and get so many compliments on it when people come over.
When it comes to hosting, what tips do you swear by?
For drinks, I've learned that having a bit of everything and letting people help themselves is best. And I swear by a good charcuterie board – I make sure we're stocked with tons of cheese, meat, crackers, fruit, and nuts. Snacks are the key to life.
What's the key to creating a fun, relaxed vibe at your place?
We LOVE games. We have a huge stock of them and always play when we have a group over. Games bring people together, so incorporating them into get-togethers is something we both enjoy.

After 2 weeks apart, I think they're finally meeting up in Miami soon(unless Becca flew home from Minnesota and they've already reunited prior to Miami)
Anyways I miss them and hope for stories together in Miami
