He.probably had it by that outting.  It takes on average 5 days to appear.  He said he had symptoms a few days prior to being tested, and it takes a few days to get results back.  I wish him a speedy recovery.

They have practiced SD for a week, so my guess is that he contracted it right before that. He has been promoting his book, and could have met a lot of people last week.
Cassie’s brother Landon seems to have some symptoms as well.

Yes, being outdoors is still OK if you don’t get close to other people, and the beach was apparently empty. He also took Cassie to the ER that day though.
IA, considering the timeline, he was likely already infected, but not yet contagious that day.

ETA: Scary times! I have what’s likely just a common cold myself, but have been practicing self-quarantine for the last week, as requested by authorities.

@notarose Yes, that’s what I was referring to.

Some updates from Cassie on her story regarding the ER visit. The safety procedure on arrival seems to have been rigorous, so even if Colton was contagious then, he would likely not have infected anyone.

Evidently he and Cassie went to the movies with other BN people on March 11th (according to one poster on reddit). With them were Arie, Lauren, Ashley, Jared and Tayshia.

Everything I'm seeing is that symptoms may appear 2 to 14 days after exposure. And, with test results not always coming back quickly, I really don't think that he got it when he took Cassie to the hospital or even at the beach. I don't follow them and can't find it now but I think I read where he had been in Denver recently as well. Don't quote me on that though.

I know in Ohio when someone is diagnosed, the officials back track to everyone they have been around trying to find where they got it and also let those they have been in contact with know they need to be cautious themselves. I hope the other BN peeps they were with are being self-aware.

CH and his girlfriend are going live on IG at 6:30 pdt. They've been doing it all week. Tonight Colton will be on with them, if anyone is interested.

I heard someone say there was almost no comment at one time this week...crickets! Now they have Colton, to take advantage of his popularity and ride the train and pretend they care. If I was Colton I’d send them off...wonder why he is doing it, being sick and all...

Colton looked good considering but he was definitely holding in coughs by the end. He said he was more tired today than in the past.
