Currently watching the first episode and will be posting my thoughts as well as some twitter posts throughout. Feel free to post your own thoughts when and if you are able to watch.

First up is Lee's intro. He is running by the beach (typical Bach shot) and in VO says he is here to find true love. He says he wants to lay his heart on the line and find that special person to create a family with. He seems really genuine and kind. Soft-spoken too. So far a good choice imo  

Cuts to host saying "this season on the Bachelor South Africa" and Season Preview (it's a bit longer ~2min and different from the short season promo by Mnet on Twitter that I posted in the media thread HERE). I will take some SCs and post in the SC thread when I get a chance (there are lots of moments that can be sleuthed and matched with the women! SA is such a stunning country and it looks like there will be some fantastic dates   )

Back to more background bio on Lee. He talks about his childhood and how his dad left his mom and him and his brother when he was young and how it impacted him growing up. How his best friend from childhood, their family took him in and they became the role models of what a family should be. He says that ultimately he wants to be able to find the love of his life and create the family he never had

Oh geesh, how sweet!

4 women get Intro videos:

First up - Jacqueline "Jacqie", 29 yo from JHB and is a teacher. She is shown read a book to her students. She seems lovely. She is Portuguese and says she has an extremely large family and can't wait for Lee to experience her passionate and adventurous side as well as her nurturing side. Hopes he is ready for this experience because she is.

Next is Edith. 26 yo and is a lawyer from JHB. She is gorgeous! She talks about being a lawyer and in a male-dominated field and how it brings out her character which is strong-willed and ambitious. She says that men are attracted to women with brains and not just how you look.

Kim from CPT. 28 yo. Runs and owns her own Brand Agency. More quirky. Says in past relationships she was seeking out the artist and now realizes she is the artist herself. So now she is looking for her co-pilot.

Last women shown is Milisha from JHB, 33 yo and works in Finance. Her dog Zeus is her best friend. So cute. She says that whoever said that diamonds were a woman's best friend never owned a dog (amen to this). Her ideal man is one that can accept all of who she is (body, mind, consciousness). Seems lovely.

Limos arriving! Lee looks so handsome! 

First woman shown out the limo is Milisha (so she had an Intro Video and first out the limo). Milisha looks gorgeous! As Milisha walks out, Lee is saying in VO that he is potentially about to meet the woman of his dreams! Lots of music! 

Lee tells Milisha she looks gorgeous. She asks him if he is a cat or dog person. He says it is a tough one (Milisha's face   so cute) he says he has to say dog because they are more friendly. They have great chemistry and connection! Great eye contact. 

Milisha says her dog is her best friend and first love haha  Lee says to her "he might have to be number two but we'll have to see" CUTE!   

Milisha gets camera focused on her and she says that his energy is amazing and that he loves dogs! (she's ready to marry him for that alone I reckon  ) Lee is shown saying what a great first impression that was and smiling away! Milisha says Lee could be the second love of her life! Lee says she was very sweet and held good eye contact and felt a bond. I think he definitely is attracted to her and likes her on first impressions for sure! 

The official account for the show tweeting about Milisha and her shown getting out the limo so I definitely think they like her considering she got an Intro vid and shown first out the limo! One to watch!

Next out the limo is Edith. She is gorgeous and Lee says the same! Edith says she has a few nerves but nothing like a shot of Lee can't fix  I like her. Lee tells her she looks absolutely stunning. He seems in awe! Edith says he ticks off everything on a woman's/her checklist.

Next is Chanieel, 28, JHB and she gets an intro video with her entrance. Driving a red ferrari and talking about how she is starting her modeling career. She says some people sit in front of a desk all day and her day is expressing herself in front of a camera. She says there is a competition to compete for a man but at the end of the day still woman and men are the hunters so she thinks she will let him do a bit of the work. Very brief chat with Lee. He says her red dress matches the red carpet   She doesn't chat long, goes right inside quickly. Lee says she seemed a bit shy and feels she is holding back.

Camera shows all three women in the mansion. Edith is talking about how it is a fantasy and let's get married already and riding off in the sunset with Lee. Then later in ITM Edith is saying, there goes poof my dream because there's two other girls sitting there. Aww I can see her being in the love bubble very quickly and possibly being heartbroken.

Daneal is next. Soccer ball. She likes Liverpool. He likes Machester United. It's not going to work  

Jenna, 29, Fitness Coach. She gets an Intro Video with her entrance. Seems to have a lot in common with Lee with fitness and a background in modeling etc. She gives him a gift (cinnamon sugar) for his blueberry pancakes. Lee shown talking about how she is into fitness like him so they have something in common. 

Kerry, 30. She brings a block of ice in the shape of a heart with a note inside it. Lee has to "break the ice" and Lee laughs. He likes a good pun/joke for sure. The note says this is a once in a lifetime experience and that she is just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her and that she hopes the Notting Hill reference will make him laugh. Lee says it did. Very sweet moment and Lee says she made an extremely good first impression and it was a pity he had to break her heart first meeting (he's got jokes this Lee does  )

America is next. She tells Lee that the universe has taken its time with him  He likes her braces she has at the bottom of her teeth - says they look cute. 

Shelly is next. Lee says she is really beautiful. 


Music! Romantic music.


Kelly-Tiegan with the romantic music. She is wearing a wedding veil! Lots of VO by her saying she is worried Lee thinks she is not ready for marriage or love so she decided to go down in a wedding veil (because that definitely says ready  ) 

She asks Lee to help her with her garter. She has a note attached and it says "P.S. I like pineapples too. Come find me later =) Kelly" She has a picture of herself wearing two pineapples like Lee did in one of his photoshoots (she is shown talking about this in later ITM). Lee says he thinks her photo looks better than his with pineapple.

Lee tells her it is lovely to meet her. Says it was quite a cute little entrance so he wasn't deterred at all by her wedding veil. Says that he thinks the wedding veil kind of suited her as well so that's a good sign. Definitely think he likes her    Long entrance shown so definitely a contender! 

Kelly is shown walking into the mansion and with the other women. She is 23 so quite young. She looks a lot older though imo and acts like it too. Other women heard talking about Kelly saying Kelly is clearly in it to win it for her to wear a wedding veil. Could be foreshadowing....

Breaks to commercial.

Next is Kim. Music with her entrance. Very tall. She is into goddess cards etc. She tells him she hopes he is open-minded but not too open-minded his mind falls out   Lee tells her he is open-minded. He selects the comfort card. Lee says it is surprisingly accurate and relevant. Kim shown walking back to women in the mansion and in VO and then later in ITM wearing different clothes so filmed later? She talks about how she felt meeting him and how looking into his eyes she was comforted by him. 

Annalene, 30 an accountant is next. Lee does a little twirl with her. She is stunning! She says to camera that she was hoping he doesn't look like his pictures but now that she has seen him she says that he looks better in real life (like it is not fair  ).

Taryn is next. Quick and short intro so MOT or going home. She says she thinks he is a flame and needs to be tamed and put out. Lee doesn't seem taken with that idea. Can't blame him    

Nontombi is next. She's gorgeous and just lovely! Gives him a heart for him to be her valentine and give it back to her when/if he decides she is his valentine for life. Lee puts it by his heart to keep it safe.

Natasha, 31, Scientist from CPT is shown. Very quirky, extremely intelligent and pretty. Her accent doesn't sound like she is from South Africa so maybe she lived abroad or something? has *Intro Video* shown before her limo entrance! She gives Lee a love potion and sings a song. Lee likes it and says she has a beautiful voice. She says 'baby steps'  and calls herself quirky and weird. I like her but don't see being a contender. 

Michelle D is next. Calls Lee Mr Thompson and says the way to his heart is his stomach and gives him a cake with a real rose inside. She seems very warm and friendly. Michelle shown saying Lee is the first man to make her jelly/weak at the knees. Lee holding the cake says "the way to my heart is definitely" and he is about to say through food and he drops the cake   Classic moment and so good! He says he has to own up to it as he is someone who always owns up to his mistakes. Pretty good moment and gives more insight into Lee and he is fine with making a fool of himself
