The whole Demi and her gf thing was totally pre planned.
Derek was in on it to couple up with her the first few episodes to sell the conflicted storyline.
In trade off he gets a broken hearted storyline and is guaranteed the next lead ......

And one correction to make. Robert Mills stated the reunion show will actually air on Tues. Sept 17th, the night after the DWTS, not the 10th as I originally reported. Damn, airing 20 days after they taped it? It’s like someone could even be seeing other people by then.
