Ryan Anderson surprised Angie Kent and the rest of the men when he entered The Bachelorette as the intruder.

The dog lovers already knew each other outside of the show after flirting over Instagram direct messages, and quickly bonded during last week's group date.

And now it has emerged that the dog whisperer, 32, had another advantage over the other suitors, Angie's best friend Yvie Jones.

A source told New Idea that Yvie saw Ryan - also known as the Aussie Dog Guy - comment on Angie's Instagram post about the reality TV program and encouraged him to apply for the show.

In a since deleted post published on the magazine's website, Ryan commented: 'Where do I sign up?'

Yvie replied, 'oooooh you better!!!' to which he wrote back, 'it's not to late?'  



The insider said Yvie knew of Angie's crush on the Rescue Dog Advocate and was excited to see that he showed interest in applying.

According to the source, when The Bachelorette found out Ryan wanted to join in the race for her heart producers fast-tracked him to the final of the casting process.

'That's why he came in late - to give him a better chance of developing a relationship with her,' they explained.

'Producers tried to sweep the whole thing under the rug, but Angie and Ryan weren't very good at downplaying their history,' the source added.

It is not clear how much money she will make from the ruling because the level compensation is yet to be decided.

We Uncover Who Will Win Angie’s Heart On The Bachelorette Based On A Heart Rate Monitor Test

Angie Kent joined Kyle and Jackie O in studio this morning to give us an update on her quest for love on this season of The Bachelorette.

But instead of just getting your regular update, we decided to be sneaky and try and work out which of the remaining fellas in the mansion will win her heart.

You’ll remember that we first tried this with our last Bachelor Matt Agnew, although our plan kind of fell apart really quickly… Having found out that he kept the winner in his phone under the code name ‘Rose’ we tried to activate his phone by saying ‘Hey Siri, call Rose’.

It’s safe to say that it didn’t really go as we had planned and we were no closer to figuring out the winner.

This time around with Angie, we were much more prepared. We decided to put Angie on our heart rate monitor and see which one of the remaining men made her heart rate the most.

Based on Kyle and Jackie O’s very scientific calculations (i.e Absolutely zero science…) we would determine the winner based on who raised her heart rate the most.

And we have to say, we didn’t do too badly on this one!

Some of the top contenders were Glenn (sorry who? Apparently according to Angie he’ll see some more airtime in the coming weeks) Haydn and Timm.

Ciarran got an honourable mention for getting a slight tremor, but we’ll put that one down to the fact that we put up his near nude photo from last week’s episode of the show.

So who raised Angie’s heart rate the most? It actually was one of the front runners on this season, Jackson!

While Jackson may be the youngest fella competing for her heart, you could tell during their single date that they had one heck of a good connection.

And well, the heart rate monitor don’t lie!

Other evidence pointing towards Jackson was the fact that Angie kept trying to give us alternative reasons as to why her heart rate went up while looking at Jackson.

“That could also be, I threw up a lot on that date,” Angie said about her helicopter ride with Jackson. “I have really bad motion sickness.”

But she wasn’t fooling us! We know it’s because we were talking about your smooch Angie!

Our second pick was another front runner who didn’t necessarily get Angie’s heart racing, but Jackie reckons that Angie’s body language changed while speaking about him, and that was Ryan the dog guy!

We’re calling it now, Ryan and Jackson will be the final two! And if the heart rate monitor is right, Jackson will ultimately come out on top! Do you reckon we got it right?
