I absolutely agree! I think Taite has been made more likable and has gotten much more positive media and SM by the show. Reminds me of Sasha who had the same (even though he threatened to not go back on the show and leave) he was given good SM/media push

I doubt Charlie got tickets or was invited which I am sure TEN comped for the guys in attendance at the races. Plus these guys (Taite, Rob, Bill, etc) all live in Melbourne and Dan and Ivan were likely invited there for the races since the show gave them some focus even though they were MOT).

It's actually the norm for the F1 to hang out with other contestants before the finale.

Last year Stu/F1 was hanging out with all the boys before the finale. Same with Lee/F1 the year before he was seen hanging out with Courtney and Cam before the finale. Even more obvious was Sasha/F1 who was was in media with Davey and Dave paparazzi before the finale. 

So Taite hanging out with fellow contestants pre-finale is pretty standard for Bette F1s.

IMO Charlie wasn't at the BBQ because he is showmancing with Dasha in Sydney, and sulking because he didn't get invited to any marquees for Spring Racing Carnival. This time of year anyone who is anyone, and any wannabe who wants to be someone is in Melbourne for the races.

Do you think Dasha's regretting her choices yet? I'd think this counts her out of BiP and she'd have been a shoo in otherwise IMO.

Hello @HEA, I am confused by your statement, why do you think Bill was portrayed as 'really bad boy'? IMO Bill wasn't supposed to be a 'really bad' boy, I completely disagree with your perception for I think the opposite is the case: the audience see that there is conflict between the really 'bad boy', Charlie, who little by little has revealed his true colours, and Charlie's victim: Bill, who tried by all means to avoid drama but did not succeed because Charlie, his bully, is delusional and has some small support which comes from his friend Paddy, Pete and even Taite!  The only reason why some people disliked Bill initially is because of what Charlie was saying of Bill, and because initially Charlie looked to many -never to me- like a good serious guy but now we have all seen what Charlie is, so now the support has moved from Charlie to Bill and rightly so.  All Bill has done is to try to avoid conflict with Charlie, but Charlie  is obsessed with Bill because initially Charlie saw Bill as his only true competition.  That is why, Bill, imo,  was never portrayed as  the 'really bad boy', which is what you believe. Finally, in the last episode we see how kind Bill was, when Dan, Paddy and Todd faced elimination, Bill looked at them and whispered: 'Good luck, guys'. The producers also want us to know that bill is nice and had many friends in the house and clearly Bill was not part of Charlie's clique: Taite, Paddy, Pete.  That is why what we will be seeing imo is that, out of the top 4, the bad guy: Charlie, will be kicked out, and Bill, his victim, will stay there, and deservingly so. All JMO

I have a feeling Dasha didn't get on BIP/wasn't asked to be part of the original cast and this is her ticket to fame and media relevancy by being with Charlie. They're using each other imo

Just one detail, @Allaboutlove as you may like to know this any Australian citizen can attend the races in the country, they do not need special tickets nor do they need invitations.  The tickets for the races are very very affordable. I go to the raceswhen I am in Melbourne and so do my in-laws who are from Melbourne. What may cost is the outfit if one wants to wear a designer outfit (specially if people go to all the races, for they tend  want to buy/prepare a whole new outfit for each single race, the Derby theme is black and white, the Melbourne Cup is colourful). Moreover, this time not even Matty and Laura or Tim and Anna had a VIP section.  I do not  believe TEN had a VIP tent for the Derby and they really aren't VIP.  For instance, Cass, Sophie and Britt were also walking around, they were not in the VIP area, and the three girls seem to have styled themselves for their outfits weren't really great outfits for the races, perhaps Brittany was the best dressed of the three. Frankly, I didn't expect to see Charlie in Melbourne because he didn't attempt the Everest in Sydney either, so if he didn't go to the most expensive race in the world (which is now in Sydney) in his own city. Tomorrow, however, who knows? Charlie and Dasha may fly to the Melbourne Cup, because every 'z- celebrity' wants to be seen there even if they never attended a race before; z-celebrities have the false belief that attending the Melbourne Cup bestows them with extra status, but the public who attends the Melbourne Cup is actually the most mixed public of all races, the MC attracts very trashy people who get uber drunk and then post their lamentable photos on Instagram trying to appear cool. I hope I am not coming across as patronising @allaboutlove I only wanted to clarify this point

That makes me think... @sundy are you in Melbourne? Perhaps if you  are free  you can go to Flemington tomorrow and see if you see one of the guys ;)

Doesn't change anything imo that these contestants get their tickets comped for them and I can guarantee per a little birdie that this was the case this year

Thanks @allaboutlove It doesn't surprise me since the tickets are so affordable. I guess what I am speculating is that even if Charlie doesn't get the free tickets he may still want to go there and attend with Dasha just to make a stand    He may not go though. For what I know the bachelor girls entered just through general attendance, so if Charlie goes, it will be really difficult to know if Charlie is given tickets by the producers or if he bought his own tickets because he just wants to be on the spotlight. In any case, he may not even attend. I just think he is loving more posing for the paparazzi in Sydney. I find it ridiculous, it is getting over the top. If Dasha and Charlie were classy and considerate they would be more discreet. Dasha doesn't even need more followers, does she? I never heard of her before though. Frankly, most Australians don't know who the contestants or ex leads are and wouldn't recognise them if they saw them on the streets so I guess the contestants -in this case Charlie and Dasha- want to put their faces out there because of that, the more they appear on the media the more  recognisable they will become even if for the wrong reasons. I think 99% of my friends wouldn't be able to recognise any lead or contestant of any season, I am a pariah among my friends because I watch this show ;)


Who do you  think will be attending tomorrow? Tomorrow I am going to a Melbourne Cup Luncheon here in my city because I am not in Melbourne so I won't know until late. Perhaps I can ask a friend who is going to check but she is going to think I am crazy asking her to check out the z-rate celebrities and how they behave  ;) hahaha

Good point, All About Love. I guess they will want to promote those going to BIP. I somehow don't think Ali will be there tomorrow but as you have seen I have been wrong several times ;) hahaha

@Popcorn For All yes I am in Melbourne but heck no to the races. Over 100,000 people squished it to one racetrack no thank you:cantstopl:plus where the Bach’s normally hang is invitation only areas so wouldn’t catch a peek anywho
