Exactly my point. He kinda said the same with Kyle. Locker room jokes and obviously think all his jokes are funny.... crass regardless for ALL girls, not only F1 !!!

I’m not sure about the DM article reporting The Bachelor led the ratings with a total of 1.190 million. The ratings for the show have never put it at number 1. The Block on channel 9 on Tues night constantly outranks it. Melbourne tops the cities in numbers watching the show. Adelaide (my home city) always polls last. People who watch the show for Nick’s humour IMO don’t all know he is, again in my opinion, gross and crass. Obviously those who listen to Kyle Sandilands radio show would know. I have never warmed to Nick for a few reasons and as a result I have not been one bit invested in his show.

In regards to past seasons I think Nick is rating higher but to me Nick rating higher was always a given because he is a celebrity lead and not because of how he speaks about getting hard-ons for the women on his season (gross ) in interview. jmo

I agree AAL. 10 wanted Nick purely for the ratings winner he would be. I personally find his gross, suggestive comments offensive.

Nick has been our highest rating Bachelor and he's a larrikin with a lowbrow sense of humour.  Sophie was our highest rating Bachelorette and she's a self-confessed bogan who stripped naked for Playboy.  So this style of Lead seems to work, IMO.

Nick and Sophie are both celebrity leads. That's why they have high ratings. jmo

Sophie may have won ratings but was a failure when it came to her lasting with her F1 and faked a relationship imo.

Nick if he dumped his F1 or is now single will also be a failure in the relationship success of the show.

Still, TEN cares more about ratings than they do relationship success though so I would expect more Celebrity leads in the future.

If that's the case, that's fine but I won't be interested. I think once TPTB went into Celebs for leads they jumped the shark. I miss the old days of this show
