I know right? Paddy was the logical F5 but he ruined it at GD. Daniel got it by luck because of extra time imo

Paddy was not a logical F5 at all imo. Paddy had zero time with the lead and was there for his FIT AF antics and would have been sent home long before that if he hadn't been part of the drama. I don't see him ever getting sqt regardless who was left.

None of the past BetteAU seasons F5s have ever been a contestant at F5 who had zero time with the lead. Daniel is the only one out of the F7 who had SQT. Paddy had none. Dan/Lambchops had none. Only logical choice was Daniel for F5. jmo

I agree with you again, @allaboutlove I don't see how Paddy was the logical F5? If seems to many that the majority of active viewers ( people who post about the show on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook) were expecting for Paddy to go earlier than he did. He never stood a chance and Ali, imo, left him there pressured by the producers, for entertainment value. She had zero chemistry with him. In Paddy's own words 'It’s safe to say I had more of a connection with the alpaca in the backyard, than I did with Ali' - People can see this on his Instagram.

I am sorry but again, I couldn't disagree more for imo I don't see solid grounds for your statements . It wasn't just Ali's view, the comments on Facebook, Instagram and also twitter suggest the opposite: most people didn't think Paddy stood a chance and expected him to go earlier than he did. The majority of viewers posting online are a good sample that imo reflects the views of the general audience, which means that viewers knew that it was the producers who wanted Paddy there, not Ali; imo, most people of the audience aren't naive and they saw through it.  Besides, Paddy was consistently receiving some of the last roses. Daniel on the other side, albeit hidden, was often receiving roses before half of the contestants and that is why I noticed him since the beginning. The only other possible choice for  top 5 was Daniel instead of Dan, and that is why people were surprised seeing Dan leaving before Daniel did; however, very few people were surprised by Paddy's elimination. Moreover, as @allaboutlove observed,  in previous seasons the top 5 have had either a single date or have spent time with the lead and even kissed the lead, Paddy didn't get any so it was obvious for the audience that he was going to be eliminated early enough. In all previous seasons, people like Paddy were eliminated even before the top 6. Basically, imo, most comments we see online and the previous edit of the show do not support your argument, HEA. In fact, I believe that if Rob were still there Paddy would have probably go even earlier, Paddy was lucky he lasted that long.  All just IMO but my opinion is backed up by social media and previous seasons.

I wasn't stating from Ali's perspective. I was stating stats: literally every single season of BetteAU the F5 is someone who has had actual time with the lead (one on one, sqt, kiss, etc). Has nothing to do with ITM or CP drama. There's plenty past contestants who've had ITM and CP drama and never got to F5. It's nothing new. The stats remain and show 100% that if you don't have sqt, a kiss, or a date you don't get to F5 for BetteAU. Not my opinion alone, just stats.

Who said he was Ali's choice? Neither Paddy nor Daniel were Ali's choice - that's all TPTB imo. And if Paddy was supposed to be F5 and TPTB wanted that to happen it would have happened. They didn't so I really don't get how there's anything logical about Paddy at F5. jmo
