They both probably tackled the situation the best way that they can.

I liked that they acknowledged those beliefs run contrary to what Becca stands for, and that Becca took a stand against them as well. Garrett straight up said he’s learning from Becca. I liked that. Sometimes you can’t help how you were raised, and your belief system is a product of your environment. So kuddos to him if he’s really willing to open his worldview a little because of her and this experience.

This is my only reservation. That he thinks the problem are the likes and not the underlying sentiment. Maybe they (Becca/garrett/the show) just don't want to delve too deeply into all of that though and this is the response they've crafted publicly while privately working on it.Kashathediva wrote:So.
