Yeah, Jef should pay up after Jan 16th. But I agree that he won't. He'll weasel out of it.

I just took a deep dive into the threads from his season and it was Tuesday, January 16, that Arie showed up at the Burnham house to see Lauren.

Just shows the timeframe that Arie and Lauren are using which shows the overlap and cheating. Arie should have just stayed out of it and taken the high road. He is getting skewered on twitter for the date reveal. IMO.

Wow. I love that! It's clear to me Arie re-tweeted it one year to the day after 1F's original tweet, IMO. IIRC, the breakup from the fake engagement was filmed on 1/16/18. Ya got 13 more days, 1F! 

This is hilarious. The two sorority crashers at each other’s throats. Maybe Leo wants to chip in.

To me, it is clear that the bet is about a relationship lasting for a year, nothing else, and Arie just forgot that their private anniversary date from when he called Libby on Jan. 1 was supposed to be a secret.

I may be naive, but I actually think that when Arie proposed to Becca he really believed he wanted to marry her, at least for a week or two, so I wouldn’t call the engagement “fake”. Just reckless on his part.

I must be missing something here! I didn't know that the date Arie reached out to Lauren was a secret. It was NYE, they both said it.

Isn’t it obvious Arie tweeted on this day because it was the year anniversary of Jef‘s tweet, not some big secret reveal. And who even cares anymore at what exact date he called her?!

IMO both of the last 2 couples to come out of the show are happy, so probably not them!

I truly believe that Arie has found the one and is very happy . I highly doubt he will cheat on her , they are getting married, and will have a precious baby soon. They way he treats her and looks at her he is truly happy. JMO

Nah, he only tweeted because someone tagged him about it. He thanked the person for reminding him. But the actual date of his getting with Lauren has not yet reached the 1 year mark. Jef tweeted on the premiere date of the season.

More importantly is the fact that Jef made a statement about Arie and he is just days away from having been proven wrong. So he will have to donate to a charity because of it.

I don't like Arie or Lauren but it does appear that they are happy with each other and I wish no harm come to them. However, if something does happen in the future, I will not be surprised.
