Arie Jr & Lauren Luyendyk - Bachelor 22 - Discussion #5

Congratulations to Lauren and Arie it’s great to see all the support from other Bach people that they are getting. So happy that he realized that Lauren was the one for him.

At least they are engaged and have concrete wedding plans - that's a lot more than many couples these days that are having babies! I just want all babies to have unconditional love and a stable environment to grow up in - and that can come in many shapes and sizes. No disrespect to those that choose differently than what I did.

Oh, I am thrilled for Lauren and Arie!  This child is so blessed to have them as parents, IMO.  

The wedding is now less than two months and the baby will be about 19 weeks, and probably the bump wont be showing much

So many burdens to carry and unforgiving is an unnecessary burden to carry around. For me, forgiving is freeing, JMO

Well they sure don't waste any time! Congrats to them.

I think their decision to have a family right away is partly do to with his age and wanting to be fairly young when kids are young.  As it is ... he’s going to be 57 when child is 20 .. Is that ancient? Of course not  but when you know you’re in love and know what you want ... why wait ?   I’d be making same decision they are.  Love ... marriage ...house ... baby .... these days the order it happens doesn’t seem to be as important as it once was.

I don't like a lot of the things they've done since they got together but am hopeful that they'll mature and (I'm sure) they'll see the world differently once the baby is born. I just hope that this all is what they really want and not just trying to prove naysayers wrong. I'm going to give them the benefit of doubt even though I have a lot of doubts of them as a couple.

I am 100% confident in their relationship. Right from the outset, he said he wanted to find a wife and start a family as he was 36 and financially secure. The sequence of events since after the show is consistent with his desires...they have done things right and I am so proud and supportive of them. He is one of a handful of those who went on the show for the right reasons. All my opinion

I don’t think Arie and Lauren give a damn about what “naysayers” think of them ... let alone get married and have a child to prove them wrong     IMO ... the longer social media is around and people read all the idiotic comments that come from total strangers ... the less serious how it affects us becomes.  I know just to get a laugh I   Read comments on news articles on a local online news site .... can’t believe what I read some days .. And how scary it is to know I live among them 

So is this their legit bachelor/ette weekend? I'm asking because it appears they're attached at the hip and not even separating in the same city which is odd to me. Lauren and Ben did the paid for Vegas bach parties but they did their own thing most of the time before meeting up.

I'm just not buying that they don't care. Personally, I think they've earned a lot of the criticism based on some of the tone-deaf things they've done. JMO os course.
