I agree. The pair seems very happy and very in love. IMO. What's more important as well as it should be is that they are getting great support from both of their families. So happy to see that they are sharing their pics with everyone. So nice to see the happy couple.

WOW Airlines is pretty wack tho. I swear people in the bachelor have use it before and promoted it, also I'm not saying TBTP paid for this and made them post about it but I do remember Tia, Krystal and Jenna posting about the Cruise they were in Paris in their IG stories the day that episode air, also Kristina made and IG story about it.

Do we know whether the family had sanctioned time with Lauren? Do we know if Lauren's family had sanctioned family time with Arie?? Personally I wouldn't assume one way or the other but during the ATFR, it was VERY obvious to me that Lauren and Arie's family are both very supportive of the couple. All IMO

Don't know how accurate this is but I think it was the L & S article that reported that although it wasn't filmed Arie spoke to her father when he visited Lauren after he broke up with Becca. Arie also said in several interviews that he and Lauren spent a lot of time together after that visit and that the most they had gone without seeing each other was 7 days. So it appears that the producers gave them a lot of leeway so it's possible that he was able to spend time with both of her parents. I thought Lauren and his mom sure were hugging it up following the proposal when Arie and Lauren went over to the families so I wonder if Lauren also had an opportunity to spend some time with Arie's parents prior to the ATFR.

They all went to dinner together, both sets of parents to celebrate the engagement and enjoyed two bottles of champagne.

So saying Lauren and Arie don't deserve squat.....then that means that NO bach couple in the history of the show deserves squat....yet we know that's not what's happened. All bach couples as well as other bach contestants have been given priveleges in one form or another. so why not them? I just don't understand that..... All IMO.

The person or people who are receding the VIK (value in kind), which in this case is a hotel stay, are the only ones obligated to disclose. The hotel nor People have any obligation to say Arie/Lauren received something from the hotel.

So if Arie and Lauren put out anything, they are obligated to disclose. Since they weren't interviewed for this article, there was no opportunity to disclose.  Do I have that right?  

And of course, just so our discussion, which I'm thoroughly enjoying, doesn't take wings and become fact, this is all if in fact they were comp'ed.

I have received comp'ed rooms many times, I guess the difference is I'm not a celeb.     I even had a penthouse comp.

I have received comp rooms and have said so on SM so ooops, guess I need to be ware of the legality police now too.....ooops.

Jason, as far as we know and from everything we’ve ever been told didn’t play those games. So that, to me, is the major difference here.

I do think that it's important to say though that Arie was wanting to contact Lauren for closure.  That is so and he has said so several times.  That was his intent when getting in touch with her to begin with.  IMO, that is getting forgotten in the fray.  IMO, the fact that he DID have good intentions in the beginning with just making sure that Lauren was alright AND that he did it with Becca's blessing.  As far as faulting Arie though.....I keep seeing that he is to blame for the change of heart, switching things up and how that happened.  IMO, it would be far worse for him to just back off of seeing Becca and break up with her ATFR than how he did it.  It did allow her to "get over" him early enough(But really that quick?? mind you maybe not the deep love)that she could have her own season so likely did her a service by breaking it up when he did. all IMO

I will agree with you though.....Melissa brought on the brakeup for the most part because of the actions she had after her plane touched back down in Dallas after filming ended.  She brought on the consequences with her getting in touch with Tye immediately as he was at the airport to pick her up. IMO

Regarding the bolded, I don't think it's forgotten, people just don't believe it (hence referring to his lies). According to Courtney (in that podcast), Arie told her he checks Lauren's IG 10+ times a day. Now I don't know about you, but IMO no one checks their ex's IG obsessively all day long unless they're still in love with them. IMO there isn't a chance in hell he was contacting Lauren for closure. He wanted to know if he still had a chance IMO. When Lauren didn't call him back straight away, he posted an IG story of himself wearing the socks she gave him. Is that not an obvious message that he still had feelings for her? IMO Arie lied to Becca (and us) about his reasons for contacting Lauren, which makes him a liar and an emotional cheater. Apparently he also told Courtney that he was regretting his decision as soon as Lauren started talking at the FRC, yet he still went ahead and proposed to Becca and strung her along for nearly two months spewing all kinds of BS. He should have either A) not proposed to a woman he had no desire to marry, B) broke up with her as soon as he found himself obsessively stalking Lauren. Is that really too much to ask? JMOAA.

The point is though, he said that he was wanting to get in touch with Lauren for closure, that is what he told Becca and that is what he did to begin with so IMO, none of that is a lie. Just because it turned out differently doesn't mean that it wasn't started innocently enough, IMO. From the point of Lauren leaving the FRC, TPTB cyclone was already in action and there was nowhere to go from there with. IMO, he did the responsible thing. It allowed Becca to carry on with her season. Lauren and Arie are together and from what I can see, he is very much in love. all IMO

I disagree. He has also said he was never fully in with Becca and knew as soon as Lauren walked up in Peru that he had made a mistake, and I think his intention the entire time, with the DMs, the texts, the instagram likes and stories, was to try to rectify that "mistake" by getting her back. Contacting someone you still have feelings for while engaged to someone else is not "getting closure," IMO. It's trying to reopen that door. IMO "getting closure" was a convenient excuse (lie) to feed to Becca and the media outlets because it sounds a lot better than "feeling Lauren out to make sure I get that locked down before I commit to a split with Becca." Just because he's said he was contacting Lauren for closure doesn't make it so. He also said he was hopelessly in love with Becca and would "choose her every day."

I know I don't have the right to call it a lie or an excuse but I do believe what they are saying as far as Arie wanting to give closure. I think that is how it started out and personally, I don't have a reason to call it a lie. all IMO

Every time the show has given a couple a vacation they have mentioned it. And I doubt the show would fly them to Europe on a budget airline such as WOW. It’s like a small step up from Spirit.

I still don't understand why it is up to Arie and Lauren to specify that it is being comped when they aren't the ones that put it forth.  Meaning, it is the hotel's responsibility to say whether it is comped IMO therefore it won't be Arie nor Lauren that is responsible for that and therefore, they won't get in trouble with legalities.  All IMO

The FTC regulations fall on the person receiving the item, in this case the hotel stay. These are the regulations they must follow if they are being comped and/or receiving payment for staying there and posting about it. They aren’t exempt. The hotel has no obligation to share who, how many, and when they are comping stays and

So if I personally stayed at a hotel and then was comped the room for whatever reason, then went on my SM saying I had a room comped, I could be charged? I could have legal problems??

Since Arie knew at the finale that he had made a mistake, thinking about Lauren day and night he probably didn’t “make love” with Becca during their SHV’s right? Or did he keep playing the loving fiancé role bc it was necessary until he got assurance from Lauren she would take him back? Poor Arie.
